Fanduel/DraftKings Week 3 (1 Viewer)

Given what Rainey did to the Falcons last year, what he did to the Rams last week (after they did a good job of containing ADP in Week 1) and after what the Saints and Bengals did against Atlanta earlier this month, Rainey will produce great for his salary if he gets a healthy amount of touches with the Muscle Hamster out. The dilemma will be if the Bucs find themselves down big early. New Orleans and Cincy were able to stick with their run games because those games were close but this one figures not to be (even with Roddy inactive).

 
I had to get Rainey in on at least 1 contest so I put this in a 5 dollar GPP and 3 5050

I'm taking a chance on Harvin. I think last week was an anomaly. Seahawks only had the ball for 17 minutes, on the road against an AFC team they are not familiar with, in 100 degree heat. I have to believe they will get back on track and find ways to get it to Harvin.

I think TY Hilton has to break out with a big game soon. He's getting the targets.

I like Foster and Murray for solid RB numbers.

I like Niles Paul for the Price, Like Cousins for the price.

Edelman, Hawkins for cheap WR's

Probably can't ever go wrong on Graham.

 
Bad start to the game for folks who hopped aboard the Rainey bandwagon.

Seemingly decent start for those riding Jones, Douglas and/or Ryan.

Tampa Bay being down big early was the one scenario poised to bite Rainey flyers.

Hopefully McCown can sustain a drive for once... otherwise it's looking to be a bad call despite a seemingly ideal situation.

That 5 passes vs. 1 rush split is looking decidedly unhealthy.

anyone take atlanta D? I never considered it and it obviously would have been a good play. I mostly used New Orleans, Patriots, Texans, Bears, and 49ers.

 
The good news...Rainey is highly owned for the most part...and really who else are they going to dump it off to or run with? Mike James? I still think we can muster some points here.

We can hope for some garbage time rushes when Atlanta elects to rest all of their starters and send in their 2nd team defense.

There's a dude in one of my DraftKings contests with Jones and the Falcons D in his lineup (and nobody else).

Must be feeling like Kreskin with that head start right about now.

Sucks for Rainey right now, but is Matt Ryan tapped out at 14 points with this lead?

and yeah Falcons D + Hester = GPP winner lol

 
In a 22k entry $2 GPP, Falcons D is 4.1% owned. Considering only top 17% get paid, that's huge.

Julio 19% owned... with both you'd basically be guaranteed to get paid.

Unreal. About half the people I'm seeing in my GPP's also had Rainey in those lineups, looks like that 0.6 won't matter much.

Im in a 50/50 6 person $109 entry. my few lineups I took rainey and the only one when others have Julio and Ryan so Im losing that most likely go figure!

Anyone one know who Condia is? he gets in a lot of entries and I saw one group that was titled "NO CONDIA!"

Holy hell.

At this point, just hoping I can win some H2Hs with Rainey in most of the lineups.

Have Julio and Ryan in 3 GPPs, but also have Rainey on those teams.

 
man, the leader in my GPP has Ryan, Julio, Hester(!) and Falcons D. He also has Rainey and Mike Evans, but what a start!

 
I have Ryan/Julio going and avoided Rainey. But what will keep me from winning the big bucks is that I didn't take the Falcons D.

 
Rainey at 9.2 on Fanduel...$620 / point. Likely to add another 10 yards and a catch. He might just got for $500 / point.

Hahah, I'm not complaining. Just get me out of here over 10 and I'll be ecstatic after that start!

ON DK he is at 15.5 which isn't anything special but its over the 2.5(almost 3) points per thousand I want for cash games. Way the game went cant complain about that,

Yep, have him widely owned over there as well.

After that start a repeat of week one crossed my mind. Crisis averted, live to fight on Sunday.

 
I don't recall which fanduel thread it was in but can someone repost the link for I believe it was called Fanduel bookmark or something like that? I wasn't sure what it was but saw someone mention later it was a good tool to know who youre going up agains in a H2H etc.

 
New to FanDuel and have a question...

I entered a H2H game, and my opponent wound up having 6 of the same players that I have. It ends up being my Calvin/Cobb/Gould vs his Julio/Jordy/Freese. Seems very coincidental that we have 6 of the same players (Brees/Rainey/Khiry/Golden/Graham/Pats). Is there any way that he could have seen who I chose prior to entering his roster? I would assume not, but it just seems a bit off to me. If he had visibility into my roster during the Thurs game, could he edit his remaining roster knowing that he just got a huge night from Julio?

I'm new as well, but I don't think that's possible for him to see. I have seen a lot of cross over in most of the lineups when it comes to the studs. You're going to see a lot of people taking Brees/Graham at home. I've started Tate every week so far as 5K and the number 2 in Det I like his chances to produce 10 pts a week with pretty good upside.

Also, Thu night rosters lock at kickoff and you can't edit.

Who knows maybe you're playing another FBG using simiiar projections!

 
anyone know why fanduel doesn't have an android app out yet? draftkings put one out and it's a lot easier than going to the mobile site.

You can't see lineups until the contest starts.

You can't edit lineups once it starts.

All of those players are highly owned this week.

So much for fading Thursday. I really thought about going with Ryan and Julio but talked myself out of it. :doh:

Now with the Falcons D going off as well I feel like I already lost in my GPP and I haven't even played yet.

Might have to enter my two lineups into a Sunday GPP to have a shot with them.

Good news is the four 10 man leagues I'm in...only one person had Falcons D and only one person had the Ryan/Julio stack.
