You are completely right here, but it makes Zuckerberg look like a huge hypocrite. Especially considering he had his little press conference earlier in the year and was all shocked and denied that any Conservative messages or articles were censored or blocked by FB.

It is completely his right to do it, but own it then.

I don't know what was in the article in terms of pictures or descriptions but it sounds like it may have violated some terms of use.

Does Facebook selectively determine what's appropriate? Probably. But Savage isn't "silenced" if he can't link the story on Facebook. There's about eleventy million other ways he can express himself and his outrage.

I don't personally use Facebook, I also don't really understand people who use it a lot which puts me at odds with a large portion of the population. I ended a friendship about 4 months ago over a Facebook incident, I politely asked for this person not to take pictures and post minute by minute of several of us hanging out. She thought I was kidding and then started mocking me for not being part of the FB community and such, I haven't spoken to her since. I don't understand the desire to show the world you have a life.

I enjoy talking politics with you guys, but you're not my co-workers, family etc. and tend to have a much better handle on the actual points for/against on debate topics which even if I don't agree, I certainly respect an educated opinion. FB is a cess pool that's roughly 100% politics from people who wouldn't hold up on an "on the sidewalk" interview, but are your close family members. Don't need that in my life, maybe reactivate sometime next year if it crosses my mind.
