They had some popular songs many moons ago, "Stop and Panic" being most notable. Around 1999 I reckon. I haven't heard anything from them recently though.Anyone know much about a band called Cirrus? A couple of their songs have popped up on Pandora for me and I liked them, but I don't think I've ever heard of them before.
Air is awesome. Talkie Walkie is a good CD, as well. See them live if you have a chance. One of the best shows I've ever seen.Dude, just picked up Moon Safari by Air. What a great chillout album. All I Need is awesome, and the sounds in Kelly Watch the Stars are rediculous.huge fan of TC and other "downtempo" or "chillout" music:AirMorcheebaMassive AttackLebanese Blonde is a real keeper - mmmm sitarNot completely sure if this fits into this catagory, but I was recently introduced to "Thievery Corporation"... has a bit more of a funk/raggae/electronica vibe to it... very nice. Check out these two tracks to see if you like them...- Warning Shots- Lebanese Blonde
Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.Anyone ever heard of Asphalt Jungle? I just grabbed about six of their songs - very interesting stuff, kind of like Crystal Method with a really heavy guitar thrown in - guitar sort of like the music at the beginning of Bowflex or from Green Day's Brain Stew.
I've been pimping that jam for a long time. Did you read about that here, or is it a coincidence?
No...I've heard it on Sirius 34 Boombox for the past few months.Love it.I've been pimping that jam for a long time. Did you read about that here, or is it a coincidence?

I can't take a full CDs worth of hard trance anymore. Breakbeats seem to fit my style more so than anything else. Then you need to get yourself some Seb Fontaine CDs. Pretty much agree. I like breaks more than anything. I can take maybe one trance song at a time, no way can I listen to an entire set of it.I can't take a full CDs worth of hard trance anymore. Breakbeats seem to fit my style more so than anything else.ld:

Nice track, I like the Plump DJs a lot, that's a little different from their normal stuff though.
That song holds up really well. An all time classic.
I liked it but don't remember it at all.

i came here to post about an artist called OTT... he is on the bill with the DBs at the LA HoBs in april...just discovered OTT, who was the engineer for shpongle (brainchild of simon posford), which is in the psybient genre (psychedelic ambient), and has roots in goa trance (techno with indian beats)... OTT could also fall into the psybient genre, but you can also hear eclectic influences from jamaican dub & german electronica... he has two CDs (blumencraft & skylon), & i'll post a few representative youtube links below... he employs some very classy & tasty beats, effortlessly mixing in indian, middle eastern & african rhythms... it reminds me a bit of thievery corp., which seems to be popular here...Check out The Disco Biscuits.
Will be unlike anything you have heard.
Jamband-Trance-Techno-very, very good
