Keep making the cut somehow.

153 this week.

I don't feel like I have any "steals" unfortunately and that will hurt in the end. I actually have a few "busts" including SJax.

Scored 170-something, so I'm good to go.

As a non-owner of LT and ADP, now I'm just hoping that lots of the people who do own those guys got bounced this week!
Same here. I don't own either, and it looks like both guys are going to be very dangerous for the rest of the year.

hopefully you are right :lmao: (LT2 and ADP owner)-QG
There is of course the flip side to this. If LT2 and ADP both do horrible one week then many of the teams with these players who have been riding them will be out.(You can guess which two players I do not have)

Of course, that's the risk I took. :) -QG

Well my plan of taking cheap value at WR is paying off as they are carrying me... Its actually getting to the point where I am wasting some of the value... With Welker, Curtis, Toomer, Engram, Devery, Furrey, Dem Williams and if Chris Henry ever comes back I feel good. Peyton, Bush, and Gates byes are all over, so that is good. Just have to hope the Bush/Jacobs/Foster RB Trio can give me 2 solid scores with Caddy and BJax wasting $36 at RB.

If this week doesn't do it with 14 points between the two of them, nothing will. Those of us who survived this week have got to feel at least cautiously optimistic.

My hunch is that the line doesn't move as much as in past weeks and certainly not as much as folks feared. Manning had 23.95 which is decent but not lights out. Wayne's 22.1, MJD's 13.4, and Clark's 18.6 are the only other big scores out there.

Was a fun run but this time for sure I didn't make it. I'm only at 118.2 which is below the sunday night cutoff. RB really killed me. Nothing from Rudi, Chris Brown and Jamal Lewis did me in this week. Think I will keep an eye how my team would have done the rest of the way though.

Good Luck to the 4K that are left.

Dug through the Turk's earlier listing. These are the current ownership %s for players in tonight's game. Think I got 'em all.

Garrard 45.6

Manning 13.7

Addai 11.5

MJD 3.1

G Jones 9.4

A Gonzalez 16.6

Vinatieri 9.9

Wilford 6.1

Reg Williams 1.1

Wayne 6.0

M Harrison 2.3

D Clark 8.5

Wrightster 1.1

Marcedes Lewis 1.5

Utecht 2.1

Jax Def 4.3

Indy Def 1.6

Lots of Colts were expensive and thus underpurchased. Given Garrard's meager performance and the fairly low percentages for most of these guys (ya gotta figure a fair percentage of the teams with these guys already were above the original cut line) I think we're looking at low 120s for a cut line. For fun I'll guess 123.25

I just noticed how many entries still alive have Brady...roughly 5.1% of all those left or 206 total; I am not one of them;

If those who have Brady can survive his Bye Week, the rest of us without him are in trouble!

See ya'll next week!

with harrington losing playing time and garrard hurt ... i'm fully relying on peyton manning to take control of the QB position. too bad i was expecting a little more out of him this year. i really need LT and Parker to turn it on - also wouldn't hurt to have norwood to break a few more long ones here or there.

Doug's numbers above say 7.7% (or about 308 teams). I wonder how many have him teamed with Moss, Welker or some other Pat who might make surviving the bye tough. One advantage is that Brady owners aren't likely to have significant players from the other Week 10 bye teams (Hou, TB & NYJ).

7.7 of ALL teams, 67% of which are alive or 5.1 % of the REMAINING TEAMS;At least I think this so, assuming I am reading the chart correctly

I'd actually like to see 8 of those dudes have a good week! :)

Willis and Crayton? They can take a break though...

%OWN (7.7%)=total # of live entries with Brady/total # of live entries; therefore 7.7% of the live entries have Brady.% Live (67.1%)=total # of live teams with Brady/total # of entries with Brady. 67.1% of the teams that started with Brady are still alive.

%OWN (7.7%)=total # of live entries with Brady/total # of live entries; therefore 7.7% of the live entries have Brady.% Live (67.1%)=total # of live teams with Brady/total # of entries with Brady. 67.1% of the teams that started with Brady are still alive.
No, you have it wrong. %own = live entries owning / total entries. It reads like this: "Of all the entries, 7.7% owned brady. Of those, 67.1% are still alive."

Don't think so.
N = total number of entries.

n = total number of live entries.

NP = total number of entries that contain the given player.

np = total number of live entries that contain the given player.

n / N = 0.340

%OWN = 100 * np / n.

%LIVE = 100 * np / NP
n=total LIVE entries, not total entries.N=total entries.

NP/N would tell you what %age of all entries had a player.

BTW, the contest stats page indicates that 3.9% of all teams had Brady, not 7.7%.

it IS a little confusing...I would like to see a column that represents the total % owned of total entries (like Garrard was on 39.2% of all the rosters)...I know this is already in the statistics section, but to see that number in this table and compare it to the % still alive would be helpful to me

Gotta be happy to still be alive when QB + TE = 3.6 pt.

Lost Schaub and Garrard early. At least now I remember why I took 3QB's (Rivers).

Good luck next week to 3099 of you.

I'm still alive, but I sure am hurting at the quarterback position. I lost Matt Leinart, Matt Schaub is injured, and now so is David Garrard. That's all I have at QB. I also lost Cadillac, and Sammy Morris is injured. Rut roh.

I like the 3 QB thing too...mine really need each other to lean on : Young, Harrington, Green  glad that Harrington is getting another shot and that Young should be back next week :)Last year I got eliminated in week 11 on Kitna, Pennington, and Sims (this years Green for me)this week is my do or die week..see below  on bye this week :name (# times used YTD)Harrington (4), Owens (6), Crayton (3), Engram (6), Folk (4)I need Vince Young to play, Jacobs and Gore to do well, 2 of 3 TE's to do well (Winslow, Scaife, Lee), 3 of 4 WR's to do well (Holmes, Curtis, Bennett, Jurevicius), Mare or Hanson to step up and a decent score from da Bears or da Vikes. :lmao: I was 2690 out of 5000 this week

Keep making the cut somehow. 153 this week.I don't feel like I have any "steals" unfortunately and that will hurt in the end. I actually have a few "busts" including SJax.
I made it this far as well with SJax. Just think if he comes back next week what a boost for our teams. I might get more than 8 points out of a RB.

Live by Garrard, die by Garrard. And thanks to my three lousy kicker performances, I missed by 3 points on Gates bye week. See you next year.

Im barely hanging on and need some of my Rb's to step it up

QB=Schaub, T. Jackson, Harington

RB-Benson, Norwood, Jacobs, Sammy Morris, Chris Brown, Brandon Jackson

Wr-Lee Evans, Santonio Holmes, Troy Williamson, Ron Curry, anthony gonzo, kevin walter, d. bowe

te- gates, eric johnson

k-kris brown, jeff wilkins

def-chicago, redskins

Seriously how am I still alive.
