I know we have a few of these types of contests already, but this one is a bit unique. If you want to participate, then just post your week 1 picks here.THE RULES1. Each week you pick one team's offense and one team's defense.2. You get all of the points that your offense scores, and you subtract all of the points your defense allows for that week. So say for example you take the Seattle offense(against Jacksonville) and the Atlanta defense(against Philly) in week 1. And the final scores are Seattle 17-Jacksonville 13 and Atlanta 21-Philly 9. Your final score for week 1 would be 8(17-9). You can have negative points for a week.3. You can only pick each unit one time throughout the year. So if you pick KC's offense in week one, then you can't pick them again. You can, howver, still pick KC's defense one time.4. Sorry, but I'm too lazy to add up everyone's scores for them. You must add up your own score each week and keep a running total. What I will do, is at the end of the season, I will double check the winner's score from each week to make sure that they didn't miscalculate of pick a team's unit twice. 5. Winner will get a great prize in the mail(I'm being serious).6. No editing of posts allowed. If you need to change a pick, then post again and delete your first post entirely.7. Picks are obviously due before the start of the team that you are picking.8. You must pick every week. If for some reason you don't make a pick but want to keep in the game, then you will automatically recieve the first team in alphabetical order that you havn't yet picked for your offense and the 2nd team in alphabetical order that you havn't yet picked for your defense. This does not apply to people who miss out on week 1. You must participate in week 1 to be in the contest. Furthermore, if you miss 3 or more weeks, then you are autmoatically DQed. Edited to add: The alphabetical order will be of city name, not mascot.9. For your picks, the total score will count even if some of the points were scored by the defense or special teams.10. The winner is whomever has the most total points at the end of the regular season and has kept his score correctly throughout and never used a unit twice.-----------------------------------jw, it's opening day so I'll give you break. If you edit the title again after I've told you twice, you will be closing this thread. No questions. You are wasting my time. Please don't.J
