I remember in past years, we've had some contests for articles, etc... anything in the works this year?

Last year there was not an "official" request for guest articles. I doubt this year will be much different, as historically there is a lot of chaff and very little wheat. I do know that FBG does not shun good content produced by members of the site....

I really have just a seedling of an idea at the moment, was wondering whether it was worth my while to flesh it out (and at the same time share it with people against whom I may be competing-haha) or whether I should just sit on it. Of course, what seems like a pertinent and fresh idea to me could easily have been done years ago for all I know... you guys put out so much good content, I rarely have time to read it all.

By my informal research, it appears the article would only be helpful to approximately 26% of FBGs. Don't know if that's enough to warrant publication.

You should do a thread entitled, would you read etc etc. I'd read it even if it might not apply to me.
