Are we talking New York Post headlines or like 1790 chapter headings or like David Brock-type ones?
Because I can do that.
Because I can do that.
We're talking whatever brings out the votes for your submissions. Are we talking New York Post headlines or like 1790 chapter headings or like David Brock-type ones?

Ooh. So like a town crier then! We're talking whatever brings out the votes for your submissions.
That's unfortunate, but thanks for the note. We'll just try to make it best we can for this game and avoid altogether in the future if it's undoable for folks.Hags, I’m not sure if you’re aware of this but this board sucks and sometimes people post emojis and all I see is a little square instead and other times people post emojis and I see kind of a sad black and white scribble of the emoji. I think these are somewhat common issues, I hope they don’t screw up your game at all.
Just fill in the blanks for the first prompt. Are we supposed to write a story, or just a headline?
For your second prompt, I am asking you to write a very short blurb. Are we supposed to write a story, or just a headline?
The emojis are the facts you have about the prompts. Use them to create the 2 different news pieces.Do we write a blurb based on the Emojis?
I realize it might just be me that is tickled by the concept of this game. If it's a flop, oh well. I think it should be fun though!
Where were the instructions posted?
Let's play: What's the News?
To be in, please PM me 4 emoji/forum emoticons. You can have repeats if you so desire. What you send me will be combined with other emoji in differing quantities, then I'll give you prompts on how to make news about the emoji that has been sent in. There will be voting on your submissions to determine who makes the best news stories!
This game will run smoother if you keep all PM conversations with me open for the duration of the game. In the past I have said that I delete all PMs as I receive them. In this case, I think it would be best to save the conversation in its entirety.
That wouldn't be the goal for this exercise, but that is an interesting concept.
It would be more like Quiplash, where you're just trying to think of a snappy "headline" to the emoji news article.
That's correctBut for now, we send you 4 emoji/emoticons and YOU will construct the "news article", right?
Here's what I might expect in return:POLITICS

It's a Haggy world and only he lives in it.oh, i thought we were supposed to use the emojis to fill in the blanks
Sorry. Evidently, I can kill a thread via PM, too.Imagine Hags was not impressed by the submissions.
I don't think we ever finished the last one...Let's fire one of these up next week, hags. If you don't have the time, I'm willing to do it. Or assist.
