I just want to reiterate that I think the mods are doing an outstanding job as usual.  Most of you don't give them the credit they deserve.

Whining Trumpkins here still don't get that liberal posters get banned harder than they do for more benign jokes.

Hey.  The mods have the toughest job.  They are always stuck between a rock and a hard place.  I think they do an outstanding job and I am more than pleased that the FFA exists.  Let's all do better and treat each other with respect, eh?

Hi Bruce, I posted at you in another thread, it got a lot of likes and not a response back from you and I'm OK with that, wish we were friends, have always enjoyed your posts even if the feeling is not mutual but I gotta say Bruce you have been targeting a lot of folks I have gotten the pleasure to know in another thread of mostly Trump supporters. 

The reason I am once again trying to invoke some communication with you is that at least a few of them were not very high on my favs list and I bet the feeling was mutual. I was hesitant to join and thought I might cause more harm than good. But you know what? I've made a few new friends and I have buried the hatchet with several of them, can't even hardly remember what the fuss used to be about?

You project a progressive encompassing world view that includes room for diversity across race, gender, countries even...Bruce why the outright hate of all the folks who expressed support for Trump? Is that fair? Is there anything I could do personally to sway you from veering so far away from the person who IMO was/is highly liked and respected? Why do you seem hellbent on not only debate(we all like a good debate) but trying to run people off the message board? I apologize for picking on you Bruce, certainly you are not alone but you seem very vocal about much of this.

What is your hope or end game?

I would love to know, thanks.

huh.  so you weren't banned for what you wrote, you were banned because someone else was abusing the report function?  I would report the living hell out of Tim if this is how it worked.

 
A wise man said if you encounter the police a lot you probably are living life the wrong way. You can agree or disagree.

If you are being reported a lot or reporting others a lot you probably are posting badly all the way around whether you believe it or not. 

FTR I take a lot of posts with a grain of salt, despite my open contentment several years back with our good friend @Aaron Rudnicki he went out of his way to show me the kind of BS he and other Mods have to deal with, it's not fun guys. All of us including MoP that be me, gets a little full of themselves and thinks they are entitled to something here...guys just chill out. Most of the hate and backlash is over a stupid election involving politicians who don't think a minute about any of us. And we're fighting in here and messing up a great place in the name of what? 

Make a few friends here, get a support thread like GM's tree house and share FB photos of the kids and laugh and make jokes and talk a little philosophy and discuss movies and music and maybe a little sports...what the bleep is the problem around here lately? Enough is Enough let's say no to the Media trying to pit us all against each other. Most of us are blessed in here and shouldn't be a fuss bucket 24/7. Take a walk get some air folks. 75 in Palm Beach today, come down out of that ice and thaw out down here but do something.
