Love it...I played it this morning at u6.5(+108), hate that it moved against me and i have no idea why it moved against me with these 2 guys on the mound. The most confusing baseball line move I've seen this season.

One of my good buddies lost by my estimation 70-95k gambling over the last 3-4 years. Most to locals, but they cut him off. Lots to poker sites, and some offshores. One of the last bets he ever made was Lakers NBA TW 10k. No idea what he has in it. I figure he'd get back what? 12-13k total. He's been seeing counselors and stuff about this and his drinking and I think he's turned it around FWIW. He's now very interested in working out and has picked up some other hobbies and rec. leagues.
He called me to tell me about this today. He claims he's done betting for good. I sort of hope this ticket loses, but if it doesn't what advice should I give if asked and if he doesn't ask should I make it my business?

yup. make it your business. He told you about it, so he wants to talk to you about it. I got a buddy in a very similar situation, lost over 70K over a few years. My buddy went to a gambler's anonymous and said it worked like a charm. I am not sure it did, but he knows how bad it can get. I'm not sure of the exact advice to give him, but I know with my buddy he has so many other people taking this authoratative approach and talking to him like he is a little kid. He lies to all of them but me mostly because they just talk down to him constantly. When i talk to him, i tell him if he feels he is chasing drop me a line, and keep his units under control if he is gambling again. I am actually going with him to a casino in 2 months, so we'll see where he is at. His problem was betting on games though. Either way, good luck.

looks like some of those were hit pretty good already. I like playing those but i can't play around too much with my balance limping along. I like going against the grain with taking the Eagles and Skins over. The crazy thing with these is accounting for injuries. Lot of pre-season coming up to try and guess who will may get hurt and who won't. there are some others that look attractive, but i will wait for a bit to look into it more. And Bender, we have 3 MMA shows coming up this weekend. I have a few plays for the TUF finale tomorrow, and WEC and Sengoku on Sunday could produce a few possible picks.

I'm actually on Camozzi for that one. He is something like 12-3 and has some good experience. I am not sure what books you have, but if you want to play Hammortree you should lok for a prop for a 1st round KO or TKO. He is 5-1 and all of his wins are first round TKO's. Cammozzi has a good chin, and i think he can exploit Hammortree's weaknesses (his ground game and grappling). And i actaully am high on McGee as well. he is something like 12-1 or something, and his only loss is to Jeremy Horn. He beat some good guys too, like Demarcus Johnson. He also has been training with Hacklman for this one, and I think Kris has been working out in his place in Virginia. Also, McCray's record is all against real small shows in Virginia, so the level of competition they have faced is very different. If you like McCray, i think you take him by decision too because his wrestling gives him a chance, but i think his chance of winning that fight are about 30% or so. I do like the Attonito play, but that is a lighter one for me because Yager certainly has KO power. i just think Attonito knows how to gameplan for yager and that he needs to do to beat him (like Bryant did on the show). i am also looking at some others i need to look in a little more to see if i am missing something. I am itching to make some money back from my Pat Barry and Hornbuckle plays, and am going for sportbooks' jugular if I can.EDIT: I am actually thinking about leaning toward a no play on Hammertree-Camozzi. I have been reading that Camozzi's broken jaw may have taken some time to heal and they are not sure how much prep time he had for this fight. a few unknown variables on this have me leaning a no play.

Forgot to post my Wimbledon plays in here; they are the second post in the Wimbledon thread, if anyone cares. Basically, I'm all over Nadal, and fading Federer. With the tourney started, and Federer in a dog fight already, I have no idea if or where you can find some Nadal, but I would do it if you can. I got him at +170...

One of these stupid Philly teams has to have success one of these days, no? There is one homer line i have been hitting up, and will continue to do so for a bit. sportsbook has the Phillies to win the NL East +250. The Braves are the favorite there at -300. I think the line is a huge over-reaction to the Phils hitting the usualy slump they hit in the summer. The only thing that has me a little concerned is what the Phils, Braves and Mets will do when the trade deadline comes around. There are some very good pitchers that may be available. I went to the site from a clean IP and you're right $25 limits
I still play futures there but that's about it. That place must be struggling since they separated from the sportsbook.com group their limits on everything have been slowly lowered to almost nothing.

) As for the phils, they seem to hit this rut for the last 2 years. I think they focus on peaking at the right time, and understand you can't play at a very high level throughout a season. The bullpen needs a little tweaking, but the run differential doesn't bother me too much. When they had those cold bats for a few weeks, they were real cold. The Flyers were outscoring the Phils for a few weeks. With J-Roll in the line-up tonight they will get a little spark, and i actually grabbed them -1.5 RL tonight. I think the Mets worry more than the Braves, i think the Braves will hit a wall soon and their home record will not continue at the current pace that it is (24-7).
