I have never been a fan of drafting a RB from Denver for obvious reasons. Chances are, if you do have one this year on your roster, it wasn't because it was your first choice. You have to make do with what is out there in larger leagues and hope for the best. The biggest problem that people overlook is that even though everyone wants to avoid the dreaded rbbc that Denver can be known for, a ton of NFL teams are headed in that direction now as well. With that being said, other than Quentin Griffin, there has not been one single RB that has had less than a 4.0 ypc average (minimum 50 carries) since 2004. They flat out run the ball well no matter who is in the backfield. They have made a couple of average backs look like gold over the last few years. 1 Shanahan obviously likes this kid and his potential2 Hall is hurt and has fumbling issues3 Young hasn't played in weeks and is still nursing a groin injury4 Pittman was running well but out of nowhere has developed bruised ribs and is limitedAny way you slice it, Torain is going to get his chance this week. He will get some carries but no-one knows how much playing time he will actually be given. Whether you avoid the Denver RB situation or not, this is looking better and better for him. If he does play well, I personally don't think we will see a massive rbbc. I think we will see the Broncos new starting RB for the rest of the season. This has happened before over there and it will surely happen again.
