You guys who have put Carolina Hustler on ignore- you gotta take him off. He's just too hilarious to read, and you're really missing out. The part about Zimmerman lying about his bond because he's determined to protect his family, and he's the only one that can do it...classic!
2 questions,1) why do you think his wife lied about how much money they had?

2) do you think he's concerned about his family making it through this process? And how it will affect them..?
Zimmerman was participating in the code talk at the jail. This pretty much makes him as guilty as she is yes?
You wanna answer the questions?Change the "his wife" portion of the first question to "they" if that helps you answer it better..
you seem to be the expert on people lying , why dont you fill in the blanks yourself?
I'm the expert? You guys have been the ones making proclamations about if for the last 6 pages..Of course.. No one on the anti-zimmerman board of directors is willing to give their opinion, if their opinion would show the slightest bit of compassion for their foe..

They cant be guilty of those?I didnt say cheetos and llamas as a response.
1. Who is they? My understanding is we are talking about Zimmerman and his level of potential guilt for a conspiracy to commit perjury charge. 2. And in my example I didn't say llamas and cheetos as a color for the sun either. I just gave an incorrect answer based on lack of knowledge and faulty logic and suggested it was reasonable. Unless they uncover any evidence Zimmerman discussed and/or solicited his wife to lie on the stand, you gotta let the whole perjury thing go. It's a very difficult crime to prove and the conspiracy allegation makes it even less serious of a charge. Like the prosecutors are doing, you need to focus on the murder charge.
They charged her with perjury. If they had evidence that he conspired with her they would have charged him too.
Right. And, frankly, if the prosecutors plan on offering a plea deal they'd likely charge Zimmerman with an additional perjury charge if they had even the slightest shred of evidence because it would give them one more card in their hand to play.

Judge cites Internet age, orders release of more evidence in Trayvon Martin shooting.

what new evidence can the public expect to see?

•Zimmerman spoke to law enforcement and those conversations, interrogations and interviews were likely recorded. While prosecutors claim they’re confessions, the defense says they are not. Soon, you’ll be able to read transcripts, and perhaps listen, too, and draw your own conclusions.

•Statement by Witness No. 9. Sources tell NBC News Witness No. 9 made some highly inflammatory claims about Zimmerman. They’re the type of claims, say those familiar with the recording, that may be off-topic but are an assault on Zimmerman’s character. For Zimmerman’s defense team, this witness may offer little in the courtroom, but in the court of public opinion, the statements could be devastating.

•Zimmerman was given a “stress test” by Sanford police the night of the shooting. Sources tell NBC News he passed the test. Prosecutors did not want the test released because they say the science is suspect. While it’s unclear whether the test would be acceptable in a court of law, it’s about to become public, again for any and all to judge relevant or worthless.

•All the crime scene photos, other than those showing Martin’s body, will become public. That again will allow amateur sleuths to piece together theories of the crime and, as the judge notes, publish any and all opinions and conclusions on the Internet.

Judge scolds George Zimmerman in order revoking bond.

Order released explains why Zimmerman was brought back to jail.

SANFORD, Fla. - Judge Kenneth Lester has filed a written order explaining why he revoked the bond for George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

Lester revoked Zimmerman's $150,000 bond at a media hearing on June 1, after prosecutors claimed he and his wife, Shellie, deceived the court during an April bond hearing.

At the hearing, Shellie Zimmerman testified that the couple had limited funds for bail because she was a full-time student and her husband wasn't working. Prosecutors say Zimmerman actually had raised $135,000 in donations from a website he created.

In his order, Lester said recorded conversations between Zimmerman and his wife at the jail "support its assertions of deception." Lester says prosecutors noted they "spoke in code to make it sound like they were talking about negligible sums of money."

Lester also says Zimmerman's unreported passport was avoided during their testimony.

"It is apparent that Shelly Zimmerman testified untruthfully at the bond hearing. The Defendant also testified but did not alert the Court to the misinformation," Lester wrote. "Most importantly though, is the fact that he has now demonstrated that he doesn't properly respect the law or the integrity of the judicial process."A second bond hearing has been scheduled for June 29 at 9:30 a.m. by Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara.

Those are the kind of analogies that get people a punch in the mouth. Could I make the analogy that Martin picked the wrong guy to get annoyed with in Zimmerman, or would that be tasteless.

Nobody's calling Carolina Hustler a pedophile. Texasfan is making the same point I made earlier this morning: what would the reaction be if CH made his same insipid arguments in the Sandusky thread on behalf of Sandusky? Suppose he posted in that thread, and made the following arguments:

1. If Sandusky is telling the truth, then he didn't abuse anyone.

2. There is no reason not to take Sandusky at his word.

3. Everyone testifying against Sandusky may have suspicious motives.

4. None of the accusations can be proved.

Now- suppose that, for several months in a row, Carolina Hustler posted these same arguments in the Sandusky thread every day, over and over, hundreds of times, in response to any new information? What would the response be?

No, that wouldn't be an analogy. It would be speculation.

You are trying to justify their lying.
No, I'm asking you why you think they tried to deceive the court.. What was their motive..You know motive can dictate the severity of the crime right? Please answer the question..
So they can keep all their ill gotten gains.
I think keeping the money was implied in the question.. Why? What is the motivating factor?
You are one funny dude.

Jesus that has to sting. I almost feel a bit of sympathy for CH at this point.

Those phone transcripts suggest that George Zimmerman opposed using the money raised through his web site to pay for his bond. During one call, George Zimmerman asks, “In my account, do I have at least $100?” — meaning $100,000, according to prosecutors. When Shellie Zimmerman answered, “no,” George asked, “How close am I?” He was told by Shellie, “There’s like $8. $8.60.”

“So total everything how much are we looking at?”

“Um, like $155,” Shellie Zimmerman said.

George Zimmerman then appeared to instruct his wife about what to do with the money in relation to his bond. “If the bond is $50, pay the 15,” he told her. “If it’s more than 15, just pay 10 percent to the bondsman.”

“You don’t want me to pay $100?,” Shellie Zimmerman asked.

“Hell no,” George replied.

Shellie Zimmerman seemed to push back, asking her husband to “just think about it,” adding, “that’s what it’s for.”

The Zimmermans during their phone conversations also discussed Shellie Zimmerman wanting to take out more cash, to “have as much cash on [her] as possible,” and George’s worry that it wasn’t safe for her to walk around with too much. “I feel safer with the gift cards,” he told her.

The credit union records also showed that more than $47,000 from the PayPal account was transferred to a bank account belonging to George Zimmerman’s sister. The phone transcripts also reveal that George Zimmerman instructed his wife to use the money, which was donated by supporters, to “pay off all the bills,” including accounts with American Express and Sam’s Club.

The way I read Zimmerman's statements he seems to want to have the money to pay bills. It seems to me he was willing to stay in jail rather than give up the money. He even tells her to not pay the bond if it's too high. There's no indication that he conspired with her to lie under oath. There's also no indication that they conspired to get the judge to set a lower bail.

The irony of that statement is :lmao: You know this info above has been out for a couple days now right?
Apparently some idiot missed it.
No, I'm asking you why you think they tried to deceive the court.. What was their motive..
That article doesn't show the motive..It shows that he would rather pay a bondsman 10% rather than give the court the whole amount.. Which is typical. And shows that he wanted to pay the bills, which need to be paid, and he's not working right now. So that's reasonable as well..

And he's speaking in code about how much money he has. Obviously with the intent to hold onto as much as possible..

Whats the motive?

Well we know he has mounting legal expenses, plus all of his typical household expenses, plus all the added expenses he'll incur living someplace in hiding.. That money will be gone within a year just with legal expenses.. I think it's safe to assume they have 40k+ a year in living expenses.. And he can't work.. I'd be squirreling away as much as I could as well... He has a family to support..

Answer the question? - Is he trying to ensure he has money to pay bills and take care of his family?

or

- Planning on taking the money and running?

or

- He thinks he's going to walk away free very soon and wants to by a sports car when that happens?

What is it?

There's also no indication that they conspired to get the judge
:lmao:
Show me. I've asked you three or four times now but you still haven't done it.

Where did the Judge say they conspired to get him to set a lower bail?

This thread is so painful to read.

Guys, if there were facts to allege that Zimmerman conspired to commit perjury they'd certainly be charged. In his conversation with his wife he is talking about the approach they are taking to pay the 150 - specifically whether to post in full or pay to a bondman. I definitely agree the judges comment in his order hurts, especially if this is his potential sentencing judge, but whether the judge believes the defendant doesn't fully respect the law is irrelevant to the trial.

What does it matter? According to your theory about him taking care of his family pretty much lands 100% on the side of being willing to prevaricate on the stand to make sure he gets off. Your rabid defense actually completely undermines your whole issue about his willingness to be Un-deceiving.

You don't have my position right at all..There are a few people posting here that I think have been unreasonable throughout the thread. My position is not Pro-Zimmerman, I'm arguing against those posters.. Seems like that should be obvious at this point..

I also think Zimmerman was likely defending himself, and will likely be acquitted, but my motivation here is anti-"F the trial, lets hang this sucker" crew..
