Also his being there can be attributed to serving a suspension from school.. One of many..
Well then, he got what he deserved.
What did he deserve? His school suspension is just as relevant as the skittles.. Probably more relevant as skittles have no bearing on his character..
Apparently neither do previous assault arrests. But pictures of middle fingers do!!!!!
one of many? 3 is many? once for being late to school(oh the horror) once for tagging WTF on a locker at school(gangbanger for sure  ) and the last time was for having a glad bag with ''possible'' weed residue. Such a badass kid,im sure Zimmy did the world a favor.
3 times in 1 year is many... We've been over this before. It's not even close to the average..
Obviously he deserved to die.
He was carrying skittles, obviously he's never done anything wrong in his life... I mean, SKITTLES!!.. Right? Skittles!! Bad guys don't buy candy... Busted Knuckles has admitted to hitting people on numerous occasions, lets see if he's ever bought skittles... Maybe we can get to the bottom of this..

Can you show me where someone said he deserved to die? I'm thinking his death was the unfortunate conclusion to him showing this fat white guy why she wasn't to be trifled with..
yes ,because he picked zimmy out of a crowd as he was looking for someone to prove to how tough he is.

Actually it does.

The fact that he stopped following him when he was told to should matter as well. But obviously you knuckleheads didn't bother to even listen to the 911 call.

From the call released by the Sanford Police:

At 2:07, Zimmerman tells the dispatcher, “He’s running.”

At 2:09, you can hear a car door open and an alarm begins that is undoubtedly the “door open, keys in ignition” warning on Zimmerman’s truck.

At 2:13, you can clearly hear the car door slamming shut, and the alarm stops.

At 2:17, Zimmerman’s voice wobbles and he starts breathing heavily into the phone, indicating that he has started running.

At 2:22, without any prompting other than the aforementioned noises and breathing, the dispatcher asks “Are you following him?” to which Zimmerman responds, “Yeah.”

At 2:26, the dispatcher says, “Okay, we don’t need you to do that,” to which Zimmerman responds, “Okay.”

Zimmerman proceeds to give the dispatcher his name. Then he says, “He ran.”

Zimmerman can still be heard breathing into the phone until about 2:39, at which point the heavy breathing stops entirely, a mere 13 seconds after the dispatcher asked him to stop following. A very calm and collected Zimmerman then proceeds to give the dispatcher his own information, directions and a description of his location for another 1 minute and 33 seconds.

The difference between someone running while on the phone and not running can be heard quite clearly, and I encourage readers to listen for themselves.

There’s another reason to believe that Zimmerman stopped following Martin: After he gives the dispatcher his personal address, at 3:35, he says, “Oh crap, I don’t want to give that all out. I don’t know where this kid is,” meaning he is worried Martin might hear where he lives. If Zimmerman doesn’t even know where Martin is, would it even be possible for him to still be following Martin at this point? Would it even be possible for him to have continued following Martin after hanging up the phone — a full two minutes after he first got out of his car and a minute and a half after he fully stops breathing heavily — unless Martin came back and revealed himself?

Yeah you didn't listen to the call either, you are way off base he says that 30 seconds before he even opens his car door. He says it when Martin starts walking towards him with his hand in his waistband (wonder why)...

If you believe Zimmerman's story, Trayvon was stalking him. He's obviously not credible, watch his interview on Fox for confirmation.

They forgot to add the part where he first said he would meet at the mailboxes, then said to call him to find out where he was. That was because he was still going after Martin, bolstered by the knowledge that he had a gun. Then he went out and stalked and killed Martin, while not on the phone. That's why he said to call him, because he was still chasing Martin. He didn't know where he'd find him. So this opinion piece is biased because of not showing all of the events. Also omits the part where Zimmerman says: "These #######s always get away".

You didn't refute a single point in my post. His story never changed, there are no witnesses stating that Zimmerman was chasing Martin, you can literally hear him run for only a few seconds with his phone, then he is speaking calmly for a minute and a half, if Martin was truly still running he would be long gone. The fact that the altercation was over in less than 4 minutes of the 911 call ending, with the first officer arriving at the scene lends heavily to the theory Martin was nearby waiting for Zimmerman to hang up and not that Zimmerman sprinted after him, faked his wounds and shot Martin all in 3-4 minutes, he knew police were en route.

That recording is by far the most important piece of evidence in this case.

Time of 911 call 7:09-7:13

Time of witness 8 call to Martin 7:12:30, other 911 calls after Zimmerman's call heard screaming (Zimmerman) then a gun shot

1st officer on the scene 7:17

Highly unlikely based on the available information that Zimmerman made up a minute and 30 seconds+ of ground of Martin running away from him, locate him, attack Martin, etc...in that time period, especially since he was following orders in the recording.

Map

If anyone thinks Martin could not run from [E] (last spotted by Zimmerman) to [D] (temporary residence where he was staying) in two minutes is delusional. Based on the positioning, it is much more likely that Martin approached Zimmerman as he was returning to his SUV and not that Zimmerman gained the ground he lost chasing Martin as he was running to [D] over 1.5-2 minutes after hanging up the phone.

Position [F], where Martin's shooting occurred, is only 35 yards from where Zimmerman's truck was parked [C], and only 70 yards from Brandy Green's townhouse [D]. It would only take Martin around 30 seconds to jog that distance, less if he actually ran.

More details that it is likely that Zimmerman returned to and got inside his SUV after hanging up with police to wait for police to arrive, Martin doubled back and confronted him at his truck (2nd time), then ran away again South of Townhouse G between complexes at which point Zimmerman got out of his SUV (for the second time) so as to not lose visual for when the police arrive using the North route of Townhouse G using the sidewalk, only to have Martin confront him a 3rd time at [F] which is clearly North of the South point of G.

So we're supposed to believe that a skinny teenage kid, armed with nothing more than a bag of Skittles, is actually stalking this guy much bigger than he is, who happens to have a gun on him, and confronts him 3 times, and the third time tries to kill him? And its a guy he's never met before?

Not surprising for a dopey punk kid.

Yes, given that it is a 30 second jog home from the last point he was seen when Zimmerman was talking to police, he certainly didn't leave the immediate area 2 minutes after Zimmerman stopped chasing him. What plausible story do you have given the time parameters and locations laid out? There is not a lot of ground to cover.

Waglist

How crazy is this whole thing.

Put this in Central City in New Orleans or some neighborhood in Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, E. St. Louis, or Oakland, and it is a non-story. Man in his neighborhood kills another man in his neighborhood when each thought the other was trying to rob/kill him.

Put it in a suburban gated community and it's something else, I guess because the deceased was supposed to think he was "safe". This isn't Medger Evers, folks.

Yes, given that it is a 30 second jog home from the last point he was seen when Zimmerman was talking to police, he certainly didn't leave the immediate area 2 minutes after Zimmerman stopped chasing him. What plausible story do you have given the time parameters and locations laid out? There is not a lot of ground to cover.
Waglist
It's reasonable... he turned the corner before zimmerman even got to the building.. he could have been home already.. This has already been established..

How crazy is this whole thing.

You'll have to ask the good reverends Al and Jessie

I think we've already established that Trayvon was not smaller than Zimmerman.. And Trayvon didn't know about the gun, if he did, he'd have likely when straight home rather than sticking around to confront Zimmerman..

The fact that Zimmerman could have easily walked the distance from where he spotted Martin to where Martin was staying with plenty of time to spare while he was on the phone with police at the point that he stopped running to the point when he hung up the phone says a lot about what Martin chose to do.70 yards over a minute and a half is 1.6 miles per hour, the average walking pace is about 4 miles per hour.

Plus it was raining outside, who wouldn't want to just go home to stay dry?

I think no matter who is at fault in this situation the take away is that morons shouldn't legally be allowed to make life and death decisions when it comes to someone else.

Is that really all you got? That because Martin was walking slowly, he must have attacked Zimmerman? That is really a lame conclusion.

From the beginning, I have always believed this kid was walking home minding his own business until he was confronted by a gun happy wannabe cop suspicious of black people. A fight ensued, Zimmerman got the worst of it, and in anger he shot the kid in cold blood. Nothing you not anyone else has presented has caused me to think otherwise.

So because Martin was walking at a slow pace I'm supposed to believe he confronted Zimmerman, not once but 3 times? What crap.

Zimmerman was a gun happy wannabe cop suspicious of black people. Martin was walking home minding his own busines. Z confronted him and a fight ensued. Z was losing, got pissed, pulled out his gun and killed Martin in cold blood. Then he told the police that his life was threatened; it never was. This remains the most plausible explanation, and it's what I strongly believe happened.

Give it up Tim, why would Martin run away and then decide to start walk really really slow? I'm talking slower than half as normal. Doesn't that strike you as odd? Based on Zimmerman's location hanging up and where the police found him you are talking about less than 20 yards over 2 minutes, nobody walks that slow after running away from someone, Martin came back and let his fists do the talking - he sees a guy following him talking on the phone, what does he really think Zimmerman was up to if not talking with the police?

Gun happy

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You are just one of many that are ignoring the timeline, ignoring the evidence that is going to be presented and have some ridiculous scenario you have imagined that must have been the way it happened to satisfy your preconceived beliefs.

I don't know that Martin ran away. Who testified to that? Zimmerman? And where are you getting your info about where Martin was and what his speed of travel was? Again from Zimmerman?

What evidence do we have of this "timeline" outside of Zimmerman telling the authorities where he and Martin supposedly were?
You know where his vehicle is parked, you have timestamps on his call to police, you have the time of DeeDee's call, you have the time of the first 911 call reporting screams with location. You really don't have any wiggle room. You are talking about 35 yards between where his vehicle is parked and 5+ minutes between when he got out of his car when you HEARD him running on the phone tape staying on the phone another few minutes, then you have the timestamp of the first officer on the scene. But keep believing there is no evidence. More important question, what evidence is there to back up your imaginary scenario? 7:09:34 Zimmerman's call is connected to dispatch7:11:59 Martin is running away7:13:41 Zimmerman hangs up7:16:11 first 911 call reporting screams (heard in the background)7:16:56 shot is fired So you have 7 minutes and 22 seconds for Martin to walk 105 yards when Zimmerman first gets on the phone with dispatch, or 4 minutes and 57 seconds when he starts running to travel 70 yards...keep believing Tim!

Tim, you are inserting way too much emotion and racial politics into this and making too many over the top statements which have no real basis in fact.

Nobody knows what truly happened that night..and never will. Now is is just up the lawyers to win or lose a case...

Most plausible explanation:

Zimmerman was looking out for his neighborhood the way he typically does. Saw someone that to him looked like a suspicious character. He called the police and followed so he could direct the police to his location and or make sure trayvon wasn't up to no good. Trayvon didn't like being followed so he confronted Zimmerman and attacked him. Zimmerman was on the ground with trayvon on top of him getting beat up. It was dark, Zimmerman didn't know who trayvon was, he thought trayvon was a bad guy (he may have been a bad guy) Zimmerman was scared and shot in self defense.

The girl Martin was talking to on the phone said Martin was running... And the speed of travel is not to hard to figure out... Most people can run 40 yards in under 10 seconds... Average walking speed is 3 miles an hour.. He would have had to stop completely or back track in order to not make it home..

Maybe he was hiding from the creepy guy. Maybe the creepy guy was in between him and his house. Only Zimmerman knows for sure, and he's a big fat liar.

Zimmerman wasn't between him and the house when the altercation took place. And the girl Martin was talking to on the phone says Martin spoke to Zimmerman first.. "what are you following me for"

Gee, I didn't realize you were there. And your second sentence just gives credence to the fact that Zimmerman was following him, not the other way around.

It's like you've never even seen the case before... We've gone over the phone calls, the property lay out, and the positioning many times..

Trayvon disappeared from Zimmerman's view and to between the buildings when Zimmerman was by his truck and on the phone with 911. At that point, Trayvon was 80 yards from his back door, approx 10 seconds from home at a sprint. Based on the timeline, Trayvon either waited there after turning that corner, or he back tracked..

It's pointless arguing with these guys. We have multiple minutes that passed (many of which while Zimmerman was on the phone) that Martin could have safely walked 100 yards home, instead he chose to wait for Zimmerman to get off the phone to pick a fight. Zimmerman even tells the dispatcher "...now he's just staring at me." before Zimmerman tells him Martin "is coming towards me...he's got his hand in his waistband." It's pretty clear Martin saw Zimmerman in his car on the phone, he wasn't threatened in the least bit by Zimmerman's presence and acted aggressively towards him by pretending to have a weapon on him (while Zimmerman was on the phone), he didn't like being followed, waited for Zimmerman to get off the phone and did something about it. Zimmerman had no motive to start a physical altercation, he already called police and they were on their way, he just wanted to maintain visual so he could be of help before getting jumped at a location that was away from the route Martin would take to get to his temporary residence, a location a mere 35 yards away from Zimmerman's SUV and minutes after hanging up with police.

Something interesting happened and nobody updated this. Zimmerman waived his right to a Stand Your Ground hearing, which means this is going to trial. I think it was a stupid call. The reason I can think of is Zimmerman is stupid and does not know when to shut up as he has proven in interviews. The more cynical reason is that Zimmerman lawyers are attention whores and want the trial.

The last two pages read just like the first two pages. Nothing has changed. Zimmerman supporters are still racists. Martin supporters are still left-wing, gun control idiots.

Yawn.

Probably because it was discussed 50-100 pages ago.

Yeah, but they said they were going to waive it months ago.
