You don't even have to take the time to type a reply if you don't want to.

But please at least take a second to vote. I appreciate it.

why not just include Stewart in the list....
Very fair question. I should have addressed this.Simply put, I expect him to be gone by the time we reach the round in which our selections could be possible keepers. Had I lumped him in with the others, he likely would have gotten 80% of the vote. That wouldn't help me decide on one of the other players should the scenario unfold the way I expect, which is Stewart being gone.If he's there, he's a no-brainer over these other guys. To me, at least. (That is... with fingers crossed that Williams is out of town next year.)

Surprised at all the Beanie love. Hightower isn't going anywhere and I have no faith that Leinart will "unstack" defenses.

I like Best the most out of the first group.

Non ppr and you like best. Non ppr. REALLY???
Absolutely. Best will get as many or more carries than Beanie (IMO) and he's more likely to hit the home run.EDIT: I actually own Beanie in my keeper league, and I would trade him SU for Best right now.

"For the next 5 years"This and the non-ppr did it for me. Short term my answer would be different.

If the bolded supports your backing of Beanie, I'm going to need an explanation.Best's supporting cast for the next five years is Megatron and Stafford.

Beanie's supporting cast for the next five years is Fitz and a gigantic ?

I like most of the backs listed here and love Best in PPR, however this question wasn't about PPR and that's what led me to Wells. It wasn't that I was suggesting Wells was definately going to have a great situation in the next 5 years, more that I'm not going to assume that because he's in a less favourable one now that that will continue. (similar to those complaining about Spiller/Bradford's situation, while it's horrible now I don't see people holding this against them in dynasty leagues)

I believe Wells has the right combination of talent/age that he can be successful for the next 5 years.

With his history of head injuries Best may not even be in the league in 5 years time. A lot of this rests on scoring though.

Voted Donald Brown. He's going to score a lot of touchdowns. Jonathan Stewart is a guy I have quite a bit higher than any of the others.

The problem I have with Stewart is that he has been having a lingering achilles problem. If he is given a heavy work load I have my doubts that he will hold up. I would imagine Stewart would always have a counter part such as DWill to share the load in a run dominated offense. However, that being said John Fox will probably not be around to tell how Stewart will be used in the future.

This type of reasoning used by people in an effort to somehow downgrade Beanie is laughable IMO. Tim Hightower is the Chester Taylor to Beanie's Adrian Peterson. Beanie is the more talented of the two backs, has the most upside and is the more valuable player from a fantasy perspective. Like Taylor, Hightower will have a few games where he'd be a decent flex play, but Beanie will be the focal point of that offence, much like ADP was for the Vikings before Favre (a team that had QB play as bad or worse than the Leinart led Cards). Look at the second half numbers of Beanie and Hightower. Beanie picked up 536 of his 793 yards on just 99 carries from Weeks 9-16 including 6 of his 7 TDs. At the time he was averaging about 13 carries a week, do you honestly think that Hightower (who was only averaging slightly more than 9 carries a week at that point) will continue to keep Beanie under 200 carries a year for the next 5 seasons? Even if you want to bump up Beanie's weekly carries to a conservative 16 a week and give him a moderate (by his standards) 4.5 yards, that's still over 1100 yards, which I think is Beanie's floor going forward. If Beanie keeps up the beastly 5+ yard pace that he had in the second half of '09 however, you're looking at a 1300 yard double-digit TD stud. Hightower still has decent value in PPR leagues, but Beanie will get you points in any format.

 Also, with a 5 year window (given the average life expectancy of RBs in the NFL), this is basically a "which guy would you rank higher in a dynasty format?"Best hasn't shown anything on the NFL level - Beanie has shown he has all of the tools necessary to be a very good to excellent RB in the NFL - power, speed, explosiveness, hands, etc. IMHO, talent almost always trumps situation when looking at dynasty value. IMHO, Beanie > Best in the "NFL talent" area. Honestly, some of called Best a "poor man's CJ" - I would counter that Beanie is a "poor man's ADP" - but one has shown it at the NFL level, wheras Best has not (yet). That's why I think many are choosing Beanie over Best.
