There has been plenty of players who've disappointed so far. Considering where Forte was drafted, he's gotta be at the top of that list. If a team owner were wanting to move him, what could someone get in return? More than likely have to do a package deal? Or is the best Forte owners could get is a bag of chips? And maybe not even that.

I've offered Nicks, Collie, or Maclin for him. I don't think I'd trade Bowe for him. Just to give you an idea of his value.

If I owned Bowe, I'd trade him for Forte(if I needed a RB) , but I wouldnt give up any more than that.Forte is still a starter, and will put up RB2 type numbers. Bowe would be classified as a good WR2 or a low end WR1.

My opinion is that the Bears have themselves a good QB, some good WRs and a solid TE. If they work on the Offensive line this offseason, he should be very solid next year. If I owned him, it would take quite a bit to get him from me. If I could get him cheap, I'd make the move. Of course this applies to dynasty format.

I just moved Forte and Harvin for Ray Rice in a 1 player keeper. Was 2-6 and needed a change. Forte has been killing me.

I tried to trade Forte and Farve to a QB challenged team for Rice but was turned down. I was offered Vincent Jackson and Hester for Moss and Forte. I turned that down. It's a redraft league.

Eh, one first will be 5-6ish, one will be 10-14 ish. Same for the 2nd. Charles is a complete unknown, and Smith is still on the PUP I believe. If Forte reverts close to last years numbers, it will have been worth it.

Pathetic is an owner that downgrades his QB postion and gets a #1 RB thrown in. Warner better FF QB and Forte for Ben? Its trades like that in my league every once and a while that make me cringe. "Damn I could have fleeced him"! or ' Damn he is going to tough to beat after that fleecing"

Forte is still RB15 in PPR leagues.

That's upper level RB2. I think he's being extremely undervalued especially in dynasty leagues.

While historically that is true (and I agree with you regardless of this years stats), through 8 weeks Roethlisberger has outperformed Captain Kurt by far. On a PPG, Ben is 6th in our 4 pt TD format, Warner is 17th (the differential is more than 4 PPG) But I kinda like a warm weather QB on a pass happy team over a cold weather guy whose team keeps trying to become more of a run-oriented offense.FWIW, I didn't make the offer. But I did end up with a pinched nerve in my neck from reaching for the mouse too quickly to hit accept.

I don't understand this - why post something so negative? I don't mind the trade at all - Hightower has been a pleasant surprise, though. Do you see Forte regaining form and Beanie cutting into THT's production?

Again, it's all a matter of how you look at things. But Forte's trainwreck > Portis trainwreck, no? Rodgers is just as good as Brady right now, and Holmes could be big down the stretch. Seems like a wash at best.

I've been offered McFadden by one owner, Bush & Cadillac Williams by another & lastly Cadillac Williams & Roy Williams, all in a dynasty type league. I'm open to trading Forte & have even posted he's available, but he's sitting at RB #14 even in this train wreck of a season, I'm not looking to just give him away. I've got a decent committee of RBs & have only started him in like 3 of the last 6 weeks & it's pretty easy to see when he is going to have his big games. Using him in a committee, I'm getting top 12 RB numbers out of that spot so he's not playing that poorly.

Forte is out producing Portis & Rodgers is out producing Brady in all 3 of my main leagues.

If Aaron Rodgers keeps leading the league in Sacks taken, I'd expect Brady to pull ahead in production.

I decided Forte is someone I would start. Charles & Hightower were so marginal starting that I never knew if or when to start them. Wells will take over soon and Charles is yet, unproven.
