The event was a lot of fun. Got to sit down and talk about the good ole days with several from the board. It was nice to be able to talk about Marino and the Monday Night game against Chicago, we had a few people that were long time season ticket owners. We had a lot of people at this particular bar that didn't know FF too well. They definitely would like to learn but this board would make their head spin and it got me thinking about a couple things. Although it seems like in here we have hundreds of people who take FF really seriously(perhaps too much at times) that when you look at the large portion of FF owners out there, many of them could not hold a conversatiuon with many on these boards. You can understand why guys in here are actually wanting to compete with other FBGs in dynasty leagues etc, the avg Joe is not armed with the same info or knowledge as many of us. Maybe sometimes though we out think ourselves. The event was fun, the bar had a nice set up, and I would definitely go back during the season

yes it was definitely fun, great to meet MOP and talk some serious FF. MOP is definitely passionate and opinionated.Our conclusion was that Marino was the greatest QB ever, and anyone who had the pleasure of watching him on a weekly basis, in person, from the 9th row in the old,OB as did i, could truly appreciate the gifts he had.Of course our conclusion may have had something to do with the fact that we were all Dolphin fans and season ticket holders during Marino's career

Yeah it was a good time for sure and it was nice to meet up with you guy's. Talked FF all night...and yes Marino is the greatest QB of all times!!!

Todem, Aerolaw, and I will definitely be getting together somewhere in North Broward during the season to enjoy the games. Both are very knowledgable about football, that was refreshing. Todem is a dyansty guru and IIRC owns about a dozen teams. Aerolaw was actually working the IPhone and drafting while we were all discussing the 1984 Miami Dolphins. Lot of fun, we need to have a get together with more fans on the board. Maybe the 2nd week when Miami is away at Minnesota, maybe we can organize a place somewhere in Broward where folks can come up from Miami or down form Boca/Palm Beach.

Ah, just saw Coral Springs mentioned... grew up there but moved long ago.Is it still growing at a phenomenal rate, like in years past?
