***Game 272 - Detroit at Green Bay -4.5, o/u 49.0*** (1 Viewer)

If you are SF, who would you rather play? Shanahan has had Lafluer's number, and this is a better SF and worse GB team than in those years. They swept Seattle, but there some history to suggest beating a team twice in a year, doesn't mean you'll do it a 3rd time (see SF/Rams a year ago)

I think I'd rather play Seattle, but I can see either argument. Probably would have wanted Detroit honestly.
They’ve owned both teams, but Seattle is the lesser D, so I want SEA to come to SF.

Packers haven’t had a lot of success against Shanny, but Carroll’s had even less.

Of course it doesn't guarantee anything, but a team that has already won the matchup twice in the regular season has gone on to win the 3rd matchup 14 out of 23 times.

I think Goff may be opening up a possibility that the Lions consider a QB in the draft with the way he is playing tonight and on the road in general.
He's a C- QB in my opinion. Maybe even a D+, he's pretty much the new Dalton as the "should we do better" line.
The question isn’t whether Detroit should draft a QB. It’s whether they should let one fall to them in the late first or second or move up aggressively to get one of the top ones. I’m open to either possibility

Has Shanny really owned the Pack?

Because of their defense, I agree. But Geno, Lockett, DK, and Walker have been tough all year for defenses. I'd say the offenses are at least comparable.
Seattle scored one offensive TD in two games against SF. Not too worried about the Seattle offense

49ers have scored 33 or more points in 5 of the 6 games Purdy has played. Only off game was 21 against the Seahawks. That was Purdy's worst game.

I would prefer they play Seattle as they should roll them. They should beat GB too but would rather play Geno than Rodgers.

Huh - more even than I thought.

Of course, those were very different SF teams without CMC and with spotty QB play, but yeah - it’s a lot closer than I was under the impression of.

So yeah - even moreso I prefer SEA.
