Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (20 Viewers)

The best looking on the show was the chick from season 1 who showed khaleesi how to please her man. that was one hot ####### chick who knew how to get down. I dont even know if she's still around.
She's locked in a vault in Qarth.
Love to be that guy in there with her. Well, until that whole starvation thing sets in.
there'd be ##### to eat for years.
sure, but it would be pretty rank after a short while.

I thought it was a good episode but it was pretty straightforward. I like the episodes that make me have more questions when it is over.

A couple though:

Who did Littlefinger propose to? Or was that not really what the scroll said.

What would Qyburn find useful with a dwarf's head. Maybe he'll put it on the Mountain's body!

Kudos to Sam for outing Janos for hiding during the battle.

Loved the hissing in unison at Danys

Hmmm, thinking about this some more and still wondering from last week where he is taking her. Unless there's a woman that hasn't been introduced yet, I can't figure who he would marry. I think now he has promised Sansa to someone. As her uncle, I guess he would have that authority. I'm not sure who would benefit him most though. It would have to be against the Lannisters. Lots of options.

I think he is heading north with her. Would be farthest away from Cersei, and they don't seem to be trying to pass her off as anybody but Sansa anymore. She is technically heir to Winterfell now, right?

I think 2 messed up situations would be:

1. Sansa + Ramsey

2. In a surprise twist the letter he has is an announcement that he and Sansa are getting married, and he is taking her there to present her to the northerners. He would have control in the Eyrie and the North.

I hope both are wrong and they are going to Riverrun or somewhere in that direction.

She said last week that they were heading west. I was thinking Ramsay...that would be f'd up. Littlefinger said the scroll said his proposal was accepted so I don't think it has to do with the two of them getting together.

Obviously something will come of Jon losing his Snow name and being ruler of Winterfell. Well, if he doesn't die first.

Yea, I know. Just thinking it'll happen in the future. I'm just guessing that it wouldn't have come up if there wasn't a chance of it happening down the line.

You can only refuse a King for so long. Throw in the implication he's the guy who can keep the Wildlings in line and it's pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Man, i must not be paying attention. Didn't hear him say that about the proposal. I just assumed everything was west of the Eyrie, but who knows where they go from there.

Story-wise Ramsey makes sense. Stannis wants to head down that direction, so if Littlefinger and Sansa are heading that way followed by Pod and Brienne, there would be a fun convergence of characters.

Well it was a quick line at the pub before Brienne approached them. The barmaid interrupted just as Sansa was asking him about it.

The Khaleesi story line is so boring I just skipped it. Whatever happened I'll read in the synopsis. She's really out of her depth acting wise since her boobs can't do her acting for her anymore.

Maybe things get more interesting when Tyrion shows up on the scene in his airstream, but I doubt it.

Agree. Im bored with Daeny now. Which sucks because she was one of my favorite story lines for awhile. I get it, shes struggling to learn how to lead and really really wants to end slavery. I just wanna watch her army and dragons go after the Iron Throne.

Starting to question this

But yea.. it was all about the nudity and growing dragons ( :D ) with Daeny, then they ditched that and now she's just a regular person with 40 titles

Not to say Littlefinger isn't capable of a backstabbing but why would he drop off Sansa with the Boltons? The Boltons sold out the Starks to the Lanisters at the red wedding. If he does in fact want to protect her, I can't imagine shipping her off to winterfell would be a good idea.

Not sure what's been on TV and what was in the leaked episodes so I'll just spoiler tag my response (don't read unless you've seen all 4 episodes)

She has a claim on Winterfell, she will be Wardeness of the North. I'm not exactly sure how that helps if the Boltons are still there though so I probably missed some detail of Littlefinger's plan

Khaleesi storyline has always been the 2nd most boring to me behind the wall (which has gotten much better now). I'm just glad to have this show back though. The worst of the GoT scenes are still better than anything else I've watched this year.

I don't see what Littlefinger would gain in shipping Sansa to the Boltons. Plus, I think Sansa is his favorite prize right now.

I'm going into the Arya storyline totally blind, having not really payed any attention to her last season. I should go back and rewatch those parts.

That is what i am trying to figure out. What would Littlefinger gain?

Sure, Sansa would gave power in the north, but it is not likely she will help Littlefinger after being given over to someone worse than Joffrey.

Do the Boltons have power/land/titles they could give him for that arrangement?

Alayne/Sansa is being passed off as Littlefinger's natural daughter and you all think he's going to marry her
But she isnt, so what is the issue? Doesn't look like they are going with her cover anymore.
It would be strange if they revealed her true identity right now, since she is still married to Tyrion, likely implicated in some way in Joffrey's murder and certainly a wanted person in King's Landing. With the Boltons and Lannisters allied, it would likely be in her best interests to lay low for a while longer.

hmm. Maybe I missed something again, but it doesn't seem like they were trying to hide her identity now. Seems they just beefed up their security.

I thought the marriage was only official after they consummated the marriage. I think it was Robb who was explaining that right before the red wedding about why they had that weird tradition of witnessing it. Since Tyrion and Sansa never consummated it, they arn't married.. right?

I don't think Littlefinger has any desire to marry Sansa or figure out a way to get more land/power.

I always looked at the series as Littlefinger and Varys playing chess with the realm. There are scenes with them, earlier on, in the room with the Iron Throne that makes you believe that the kings and queens aren't controlling anything. Littlefinger struck with poisoning Joff and other moves to get certain people in and out of position, now Varys has Tyrian on the run and he's making his moves.

So what is his move?

Varys seems to be doing stuff behind the scenes to put others in power, and Littlefinger seems to be making moves to put himself in power.

What power? He has no army or dragons. He has a couple plots of land in the middle of the map, right? In the song of Ice (North) and Fire (South), doesn't he really just have a couple of pretty powerful chess pieces but nothing more powerful than that for himself?

Nice analogy, a chess match. Varys wants peace and what is best for the realm vs. Littlefinger wants chaos and what is best for him, is that how you interpret it?

Forgot about Bran since he hasn't been on yet this year. Definitely the worst.

I believe this is one of the scenes you are referencing from episode 3.6 (dialogue in spoiler tag):

Lord Varys: A thousand blades, taken from the hands of Aegon's fallen enemies. Forged in the fiery breath of Balerion the Dread.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: There aren't a thousand blades. There aren't even two hundred. I've counted.

Lord Varys: Heh. I'm sure you have. Ugly old thing.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: It has a certain appeal.

Lord Varys: The Lysa Arryn of chairs. Shame you had to settle for your second choice.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: Early days, my friend. It is flattering really, you feeling such dread at the prospect of me getting what I want.

Lord Varys: Thwarting you has never been my primary ambition, I promise you. Although, who doesn't like to see their friends fail now and then.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: You're so right. For instance, when I thwarted your plan to give Sansa Stark to the Tyrells, if I'm going to be honest, I did feel an unmistakable sense of enjoyment there. But your confidant, the one who fed you information about my plans, the one you swore to protect... you didn't bring her any enjoyment, and she didn't bring me any enjoyment. She was a bad investment on my part. Luckily, I have a friend who wanted to try something new. Something daring. And he was so grateful to me for providing this fresh experience.

Lord Varys: I did what I did for the good of the realm.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: The realm. Do you know what the realm is? It's the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies, a story we agree to tell each other over and over, until we forget that it's a lie.

Lord Varys: But what do we have left, once we abandon the lie? Chaos? A gaping pit waiting to swallow us all.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, are given a chance to climb. They refuse, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

I didn't say that he had a lot of power now, but he looks to be trying to do so. Doesn't he technically control the Vale and those troops? I think he is still lord of Harrenhall, although that has been probably passed off. IF his play was to marry Sansa that would give him the northerners technically too. If these people will help him is one thing, but that would give him as much power/troops as anybody we have seen yet. I would bet he was also able to secure a bit of money for himself as master of coin.

A lot of good dragons have gotten Dany. She cant even control one damn city.

Yes and no. The Boltons were vassals to the Starks- the land they gained is the Starks but I guess nothing would stop them from giving the usurped land away.

I read something that said Bran will not be in this season at all.
