Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (3 Viewers)

#### all of you guys. You know I don't care about Tommen. He could be asleep or out of the room for all I care. Let Margaery have some dalliance with a kings guard then. I need some Margaery!
Don't attack us because you're a monster.
He's been on trial for being Tim his entire life!
tim calls for a trial by combat! who will be his champion?
anyone, anyone....

The setting is medieval Makebelieveland. Our society isn't real big on lots of things that go on in the GOT world. Open prostitution, hacking people to death as a form of self defense, incest, black magic, etc. This ain't suburban Cleveland. Adolescent royalty making the sexy time with an older noble chick wanting to pork her way to the top probably shouldn't even be news, much less scandal.

It's not porn; it's drama. Little Tommen-actor isn't being statutorily raped. He wouldn't even have to be in the room. Feeling so uncomfortable with this in the magical story world when we're so comfortable with beheadings seems a little off kilter to me. You either invest intellectually in the story world or you don't. It gets ###### up in a hurry when you try to force your own morality on a Lannister.

I believe he's saying its all ok to go Timmy on Tommen because that's normal for a Lannister/Tim to do.

Damn, Witch Fire Crotch has some tiny nips.
Too small IMO. Strangely small.
Big fan. I used to practice my niplicking technique in class when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade by working the eraser at the back end of my trusty #2 with cat-like flicking of the tongue. I thought I was prepared when the time came, so imagine my surprise when the first set of knockers with which I was free to do as I pleased came equipped with two slices of genoa salami with cherry gobstoppers glued to them. I was in a blind panic, I didn't know if I was at the Wonka factory or had ordered an antipasto salad.

I would have given anything to have had Melisandre's supple rack displayed to me.

I just stopped a gob in my underpants.

watched the episode again, and just wanted to say that for all the talk about giving dinklage the emmy for the trial scene, his acting this episode (esp. with oberyn) >> courtroom.

Agreed - all three prison cell interactions were great from Dinklage in this episode. With Jamie, Bron and Oberyn. Great range of emotions shown.

the guy who plays Oberyn, too. I knew where he was going with that whole story he was telling to Tyrion, but it was still delivered really well. awesome that he can see through all the "monster" hate that Tyrion gets to recognize that he's really just a man, tortured by his circumstances.

:goodposting: that's deep. it's fairly easy to spot the real monsters in the show but to know who the real protagonists are is a challenge. big ups to the writers and casting. I like where this season is going with these new relationships and i don't mean the sexual kind.

Yup. That story had my wife in tears, particularly as they focused on Tyrion's eyes starting to tear up.

He has a real skill reacting to what others are saying or doing. When Shae walks into the courtroom or when Oberyn tells him that he will be Tyrion's champion were really powerful moments from him.

the mountain is a bad bad man. curious how the fight goes down and whether oberyn has some tricks up his sleeve. no way he can beat that beast straight up.

We've never seen the Red Viper in action. You don't get that nickname for nothing.

Is the only red viper fightin action when he hand stabbed the one guy before he **** stabbed the whole staff of the whore house?

HAR HAR HAR Tim thought Dorne was Braavos HAR HAR HAR!!! What a maroon! HAR HAR HAR!!!

I know, right? I can't keep track of this stuff.

Anyhow, it will be an interesting fight. My wife is scared, because she's in love with Oberyn, and doesn't want him to die.

I read that the new Mountain actor is 6'9'' 419 pounds. Jeebus.
Hapthor Bjornsson, I believe his name is. He finished in the top 5, IIRC, at the last World's Strongest Man competition.
I know it's taboo....but I thought by the books he was bigger. I thought he was like Andre the Giant sized.
Hard to find actors that are the size of Andre, I'm afraid.
True....but this guy is more like The Hill that Rides than The Mountain that Rides.

This guy seriously isn't big enough for you? He's comically huge and one of the strongest men on Earth.

They had to resort to some camera trickery to make him look bigger standing near Cersei....but he's still a big actor. I'm sure he's also a strong dude.....but he falls short in the book descriptions of the character; 8 feet tall, able to wear chain mail under plate mail; swings a 6 foot sword...etc. etc.

:lmao:

It's a shame they couldn't find someone to really nail that role.

I'm sure they could have found an 8 foot tall 650 pound dude if they really tried. I'm disappointed.
