Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (5 Viewers)

I can't handle all these people who just want to come into this thread and poop on everything here. You are all are a bunch of Reek's in my book. No manhood, smelly, beat down Reek's! I demand you look us in the eye an apologize then crawl back into your cell with the dogs.

 
So, if Jon is a Targaryen then Maester Aemon does not know. (which I would have expected because how would he know?)

The Boltons do know or at least know now that Stannis is in the North and heading towards him. I suspect that somehow Bolton will turn the odds around and to have Stannis beat until at the last moment Jon comes in and saves the army with the Wildlings. Since this is GOT that also likely means Stannis gets killed and somehow Jon's true lineage is revealed (Red Woman?) and he then takes over Stannis' army, the wildlings and the army of the North in a bid to save the Seven Kingdoms.

I always liked Jorah as a character. Apparently we have a long farewell ahead of us for him.

I expected the Ramsay's crazy chick would be a thorn in Sansa's side and I even thought that showing her Reek was all about mental torture but as I thought about it, I think she has turned her craziness and jealousy on Ramsay and will likely end up being his doom in some way or at least lead him towards that before her doom.

Miranda was jealous that Ramsay was going to marry Sansa.

Miranda brought Sansa to Theon to make her fear Ramsay.

Ramsay didn't know about it in advance, which was made pretty clear in the don't keep secrets/I forgive you scene.

So Ramsay defused the situation and made a point to introduce Sansa to Theon and force Theon to apologize at dinner even though it embarrassed his father.

And his father responded by reminding ramsay that he was expendable.

It was a good exposition to all the politics going on in winterfell. I don't think Miranda's motives were supposed to be a mystery.

 
Read the spoiler in Forbes. Not much of a spoiler and I doubt very much it happens in either the show or the books but I could be wrong.

Meanwhile the nights watch is shaping up pretty much like i thought it would.

Anyone have a rough idea of the time of the episodes? Has it been months since Tyrion escaped? Weeks? That's the one thing that throws me. We have to assume that unless there is a continuing scene between episodes that a decent amount of time passes, no?

You skipped over the part where Ramsay threatens her and after he turns her around she has a face that says "I am going to do something". What? We don't know. I think we mostly assume it is to harm/torture Sansa but....

Reek was suppose to be hidden. A secret from Sansa. That was for a reason. Showing Reek to Sansa did one very important thing for Sansa, it showed Sansa who Ramsay was. If there was any doubt at all the dinner brought that home. I don't think it is for any love for Sansa of course but I think Miranda wants to burn Ramsay down for turning his back on her.

And I don't know how you call that 'defuse' the situation unless you are a whack-a-doo like Ramsay.

I don't think he said the last Targaryen. I thought it was pretty obvious that they're foreshadowing again that Jon is Rhaegar and Lyanna's son.

Aemon mentioned something about "there is nothing like a Targaryen standing alone" and then immediately Jon walks in as he says that.

I don't remember if it was Jon or not, I think it was, but someone said "Less enemies for us". And Stannis mumbled "fewer". I thought it was hilarious and laughed , my wife thought I was crazy.

That's my recollection as well. He said something like, "a Targ alone in the world is a terrible thing, with her only living relative a thousand miles away" (paraphrasing) - referring to himself - and then of course Jon walks into the room at that exact moment.

It defintely could be that, but for the moment I disagree.

The look on Miranda's face as Ramsay took her from behind after telling her that she was his- a look of sudden awareness and resignation that her life was pretty much ####ed (literally and figuratively). Her showing Theon to Sansa... could be anything from wanting to take a little control back and shake stuff up, to wanting to rattle/scare sansa away, to wanting to create her own relationship with her for when/if she turns on Theon.

Show has the best witty dialog. Loved last week when Pycelle says the small council keeps getting smaller and smaller and Cersei fires back "not small enough" I laughed out loud.

He never says last in regards to Danys but he does say " her last relation thousands of miles away, useless and dying."

Then " a Targaryan alone in the worI'd is a terrible thing"

Which again, is pretty strong evidence that he does not now something we do not.

However, is there foreshadowing going on here with Jon coming after this? I think likely so.

 
I wonder if Reek can muster up a little Theon courage and hip Sansa to what's really going on, i.e. Ramsay's a monster, her brothers aren't dead, etc. seems unlikely, but maybe just seeing her will remind him of who he was.

and I kinda like how Sansa is transforming from a meek little girl with her head in the clouds in the beginning to someone with a little bit of a nasty streak. for a second I thought she was gonna shank Reek.

Wasn't Jon. It was a guy sitting to his left. Not sure of his name.

 
So Tyrion makes it to Mereen to meet up with Danny. Then what? They take over Westeros together and meet up with Jon Snow who is marching south with Stannis? Can't imagine Stannis and Danny getting along. Stannis must eat it before then I suppose.

It's greyscale, the same thing that's on Stannis' daughter's face. Valyria's like a leper colony except it's, you know, a greyscale colony.

Dunno why they were so unchill though. :shrug:

There was a comment before in previous episodes about people turning with the greyscale that they acted like beasts. I seem to remember it was Gilly who said it.

 
As for Joray touching Tyrion, I think there may be some sort of incubation period. For example, there was the talk Stannis had with his daughter and when she was turning everyone was scared that she would infect them all but didn't.

Or is it direct contact to the skin? You notice that Jor had it on his inside wrist - as if he was grabbed and touched just there, but clothing prevented more direct contact.

Or, imps are immune.

Or they both die.
