Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (6 Viewers)

So which was riskier? Jaime kissing Cersei moments after she "wiped" the poison from her lips or Sam shaking Jorah's hand after he was "cured"of greyscale?

In seriousness i don't have problem keeping track of things... but then again I'm a relentless nerd that gets stoked for things like new Pokemon titles.
I'm not, and I've got a terrible memory.

But I've seen that tree so many times I know it's face better than my daughter's.

I don't think she would allow herself to be at the mercy of Cercei. I think she would have taken poison herself before falling into Lannister hands.
If she assumed that she would die at Jaime's hand, which made more sense than being brought back to Cersei, then her delay allowed her to get the last laugh.  Cersei tortures to right wrongs committed against her.  Olenna only needed to die as the head of her family ...Jaime would take care of that.  Her death was 'business,' not personal.  Great scene, though.

Yeah.  Someone should give Dany a heads up about these things so she can send some out with some scouts.
Scouts would have dne no good with Euron. They were ambushed in the middle of the night.

Scouts would have gone to Casterly Rock and noticed what exactly?

You don't think a few well placed scouts would've noticed a 10,000+ man army marching south towards Highgarden?  Kinda hard to hide that.

I would like to see Bran meet Littlefinger and then "view" him....see what other stuff he has been up to that we don't know about.

Do you think Bran has gone back for more intimate viewings of Cersei?  The last time he saw her she was bent over and taking it, you'd have to think that would leave an impression on a young teen and he might want to see more...

He's already seen it...plotting to kill jon arryn...and joffery

Damn, this was a good episode. The dialogue this season has been stellar which is no surprise but this week was particularly sharp. As others have said, it's great to have Tyrion's wit back in full force. That's a huge aspect of his character. Lady Olenna dropping vicious hooks until the very end was also terrific. Diana Rigg was incredible in that role.

The Dany-Jon meeting lived up to the hype. Both digging into their respective positions but you can see the respect lurking under the surface. Jon was practically dumbfounded by Dany's beauty when he first saw her and Dany kept sizing Jon up to see what he was made of. I'm guessing she finds out more about Jon dying. Also her last look at Jon when he left after getting the dragon glass go-ahead speaks to something more. As Clint Eastwood would agree;

The tide will likely turn in the war once Dany decides it's time to be a dragon but I like how Cersei is emerging on top thus far. She's stayed one step ahead of Tyrion and her cunning is proving to be her greatest asset thus far. But we'll see how things go when the dragons come out to play.

The only thing I found odd about the episode was the common people in King's Landing all giddy over Euron. Why would his return spark that kind of response? I doubt the common people share any great love for Cersei. That felt really odd although I am enjoying Euron more than I thought I would. Now it's all about who gets to kill him. Jamie's the obvious favorite.

Hard to believe there's only four episodes left this season.

I think we're supposed to believe that the lives of the commoners are so poor and terrible that basically anytime they can exorcise some of that resent and hate of the rich by abusing them publicly without receiving punishment, they will. I bet it's cathartic. I don't think it's about it being Euron vs the Sandsnakes and Yara. I think it's just obvious the women are noble Ladies that need some garbage and #### thrown at them. Just like with Cersei--although they obviously knew who she was which made it even better. They would have done the same to Margaery if allowed, despite "loving her" for her charity.

Yea, I don't buy that. I think it knowing Cersei it is more likely that she would want Olenna back to torture or kill in a gruesome way. Olenna knows Cersei and it should be nothing but a surprise that Jaime was able to talk her into a quick and clean death.

It's definitely personal for Cersei. She's made that very clear. It was Jamie's influence that led to a more merciful execution.

Exactly. And there is no way that Olenna could forsee Jaime winning out.

I don't think Olenna would allow her fate to be at the whims of Cersei. I think she would have taken poison herself and not allowed Cersei/Jaime decide how should we pass. I just think they failed the character here. A minor gripe.

I really disagree here. I thought Olenna's death was fantastic. She knew she was beaten but she went out dropping one more haymaker that she knew could have devastating consequences. She also basically told Jamie that he's seriously f'd for loving Cersei which might be something he already knew but doesn't care about. But now you have one huge piece of information that Jamie possesses that could come into play if Cersei has Tyrion in trouble, which seems likely at some point. Even in her death Olenna played the long game and played it well. It was a terrific death scene.

Yup. All that is understood. You are totally missing my point.

So HBO got hacked.  Again.

Be careful out there.  The remainder of this season is leaked. Trust no one.
I heard it's only one script. They got a ton from HBO overall (far more than the Sony hack), but I imagine the GOT episodes themselves are pretty carefully walled off. Who knows, though.
