Game Thread: Baltimore at Indy (1 Viewer)

I like how the refs have taken it upon themselves to influence the game here...4 Illegal contact penalties on one drive!!

Why the bleep is Manning throwing now? Time to run the clock out and go out with a victory....of course i'm playing against Manning and Wayne...

If he doesn't throw it, then the refs can't call a penalty

Again, I don't get it. How are they in 2 down territory now with that D and over 8 minutes left in the game? They need 2 scores anyway. What's the point of going for it here? Can someone explain this to me? I've been involved in football on some level for nearly 15 years and I just can't grasp this one.
So now they're down by 10 and driving instead of down by 7???

How many did Vanderaqt missing effect?
Didn't effect me but it hurt the guy in the other semifinal game. I've already clinched a spot in the championship and would sure like to meet the Vanderjagt owner but it doesn't look like it will happen.

   It would've been like a 65 yard FG!

On the one where they were in FG range and went for it, they got a TD.

you've got to be ####### kidding me. that might have just cost me a trip to the super bowl ( I have the Indy D and need the points).

oh well,, maybe next week. There is an outside chance that he won't break the record. if SD holds him to one then he sits in week 17.

F'n Billicheck :hot: Two drives in a row where he shoulda kicked the FG on 4th. That made no sense what so ever.I hate him.
  I think they should've kicked a FG on that last one...but on the one before when they could've kicked a Fg, they got a TD, so they ended up with 7 points on those two possessions instead of 6(2 FGs).

Why is it classy to kneel down with 17 seconds left to guarantee a win? It's called "what you're supposed to do".
I know it's what you're supposed to do. But there has been a sub-plot to this game, in case you didn't notice.Classless would have been to throw a pass for the record. But I guess you can have whatever opinion you want.

Because Manning has been hammered on this board for chasing the record regardless of the situation

There is no CLASSY thing you can do in this situation.Options are: do your normal job and win or look like a selfish ####### on national TV. NOT being classless and being classy are't the same things.

i am in utter disbelief.....I'm up by 16 but he still has Brady and McMichael going tomorrow night....that six points would have been HUGE!! I never saw him step out on the replay. ####C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
