Game Thread W1 - Philadelphia at St.Louis (1 Viewer)

Can you guys tell us about Kendricks? I see two targets thus far and I saw the ugly drop. Are they saying anything? Any more targets than that?

J

Runs great routes. He will be a top 5 TE for years to come. Going to be the steal of rookie dynasty drafts. Bradford loved his TEs in high school, college, and now the NFL.

He had 2 ugly drops so far. Targeted another 1-2 times. Otherwise not much to see from him this game. Tight ends should do well against the eagles this year so it's a little disconcerting that he's got nothing so far this game.

Amendola left the game with an arm injury. It was gruesome enough that Fox refused to show replays of the injury.

Kendricks had a nice screen pass reception on this drive, but he's had the dropsies early on. Probably rookie jitters.

Kendricks also appears to have just run the wrong route on the last play. Hard to say for sure, but he was bunched up with Cadillac in the flat and wasn't at all prepared to block.

Has Bradford looked that bad....or is the lack of talent around him holding him back?
So very many drops, and the injuries to the skill players haven't helped. But he's looked pretty unimpressive as well. Amendola had a step on the coverage when it was 2nd and goal from the 8 earlier today and Bradford just had to drop a fade throw into his lap over the DB and he overthrew him by five yards or so.Bradford's heading back to the sidelines now.

lesean only racking up 1.5 per rush. He getting swarmed or just not finding the hole?
no holes, running in passing situations....etc...eagles o line is total ### today
looked pretty damn good on this drive :)
Yup. 49 yard TD rush brings his average up to 7.4 on the day.
Had several nice runs immediately before that one. It wasn't ONE rush
I never said it was.

Solid win after a VERY shaky start to the game.

Our linebackers are going to be a problem against disciplined running teams, that much is clear. Our secondary really wasn't tested much, as Bradford hardly looked downfield (so much for the Josh McDaniels Effect). It was AWESOME seeing the team run the ball to grind out the 2nd half, that's what we've been asking to see for a LONG time.

In spite of the victory, there are concerns, most obviously the LBs. Our O-line had issues, particularly with Kelce getting the line calls in time -- we had four (or five?) delay of game penalties/forced timeouts. It was interesting to see Avant play such a huge role considering Maclin and Smith were active.

Our D-Line looked great, really started pinning their ears back and making plays after the first quarter.

I felt awful for the Rams fans to be honest. To see injuries to Bradford, Steven Jackson, Danny Amendola, Jason Smith and Quinten Mikell in the same game? Wow.
