Game Thread W11 - San Diego V Jacksonville (1 Viewer)

LOL. MJD consistently outproduces Taylor with MUCH fewer touches. MJD is easily the more talented RB (& one of the more taleneted RBs in the league). That said, I don't know why the Jags give more touches to Taylor. I know one thing, tho....in the not-to-distant future, MJD is going to be a fantasy MONSTER. He does everything well & has no weaknesses. As an MJD owner in a couple dynasty leagues, I can't wait. :jawdrop:

I'd have to disagree about being more talented. Taylor was sickeningly good for several years. One never loses talent. It just becomes buried by the means by which to express them. If a pianist becomes old and unable to play the piano, their talent is still there. Just cannot express it anymore. Taylor is old...not less talented.

Damn  , Mike Peterson injured again...

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Jaguars linebacker Mike Peterson, the team's top tackler and locker room leader, broke his right hand Sunday against the San Diego Chargers and will be sidelined indefinitely.

It was another devastating injury for the ninth-year pro from Florida.

Peterson, who entered Sunday's game with 108 tackles, missed 11 games last season after tearing a chest muscle.

He was slumped over at his locker after Jacksonville's 24-17 victory Sunday and declined to comment. Several players and coaches stopped by to console him.

"He broke it in several places and the question will be whether or not four or five weeks from now he can play with a big club or not," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said. "We'll have to assess that. Right now, he's definitely going to be out for a few weeks."

Without Peterson, the Jaguars probably will move outside linebacker Daryl Smith into the middle and insert rookie and second-round pick Justin Durant into the starting lineup.

Very disappointed in both the Chargers playcalling and the Charger defense today. I thought that Norv struggled today and can't believe the Bolts got 0 turnovers and 0 sacks. Unacceptable.

I actually thought Norv called a pretty good game (ETA: I am not including his punt-versus-go-for-it decisions in that assessment), and I was encouraged by Rivers' inconsistency (which is a definite improvement over the last two games). The defense was terrible, though. They kept rushing just four guys and getting no rush, and McCree was always out of position. Weddle should start over McCree as soon as he's healthy. And Merriman and Phillips should be rushing the passer together more often.

The team really misses Castillo right now.

I hate it for LT, Gates, and co. but I absolutely love it for A.J. Smith. I hope that his out of control ego finally gets whacked Soprano-style at the end of this season. This was a team ready to win a superbowl that has gone to cellardwellers all in one off-season where A.J. Smith's ego was running rampant.
 Man, where do these clueless drones come from. That isn't even close to a :bowtie: .

Was that really a Charger smiling real big on the sidelines while the Jags are kneeling on the ball, hence, cinching a loss for San Diego?
I think it was in response to someone reminding him just how bad the division is. They can play like this and they're still in first place by themselves in the AFC west.
