No way, QB giving himself up stepping out of bounds, the league is supposed to be protecting QB's, right? RIGHT??Looked like a clean hit to me. Vick was in bounds and he pushed him......

Looked good to me. He hit Vick when he was still in bounds. its not like Spencer can put on the brakes, they are both going full speed...Looked like a clean hit to me. Vick was in bounds and he pushed him......

Exactly. It's called football, even if the NFL doesn't want to admit it sometimes.I'm not a Cowboys fan so not sure what you're insinuating. He was in bounds when the guy gave him a 2 hand push out of bounds. With a player as dangerous as Vick, you better make sure you get him out of bounds. No bias here...Looked like a clean hit to me. Vick was in bounds and he pushed him......
It wasn't where the contact was. It was the two handed shove. Definitely should have been a penalty.Good no-call. First contact happened with Vick was still barely in bounds.
That's a flag 99% of the time and you know it.Is this the same Eagle fans complaning earlier in the year when I believe it was Hobbs laid out a WR and got called for 15 yard penalty?
Still doesn't make it the right call thoughNo doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.
He might have been able to put his hands down or not follow thru on the shove.Looked good to me. He hit Vick when he was still in bounds. its not like Spencer can put on the brakes, they are both going full speed...Looked like a clean hit to me. Vick was in bounds and he pushed him......
You're a Giants fan. That's what I meant.I'm not a Cowboys fan so not sure what you're insinuating. He was in bounds when the guy gave him a 2 hand push out of bounds. May not be but the inconsistency is infuriating.Still doesn't make it the right call thoughNo doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.
Shame on Spencer for not letting Vick tight rope that sideline all the way down for a TD.It wasn't where the contact was. It was the two handed shove. Definitely should have been a penalty.Good no-call. First contact happened with Vick was still barely in bounds.
even Kitna would probably get that callNo doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.

I'm a Steelers fan but nice try. I could care less about the Giants, Cowboys or Eagles...........Well there was a missed facemask, a high hit on him and now that out of bounds hit on Vick tonight that got no calls. I am all for letting them play but when others are getting calls and the obvious ones are not getting called, its bull####. That was the angriest i ever seen Reid in a game too.No doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.

Contact point was legal. Actions to push a QB far out of bounds was not. That gets flagged most of the time and clearly should have been here - but there's no consistency. This is the same crew that did the BAL-PIT game last week, by the way.My mistake then - thought you were a NYG guy. You're a Giants fan. Clearly. If Suh gets called for the hit on Cutler, this should be a penalty. Btw, I did not think the Suh hit was a penalty. No doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.

I definitely agree with this............May not be but the inconsistency is infuriating.Still doesn't make it the right call thoughNo doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.

And none of those guys are threats to get a 90 yd rush td, with those guys its implied that thier getting OOB wit Vick who knows? That is just a dumb statement, I am sorry.BusterTBronco said:Kind of a silly comparison. Brady and Manning are not the running threat that Vick is. When Vick is in the open field, the defense has every right to treat him just like a WR or RB.No doubt in my mind that Brady and Manning get that call.
So talent level of a player goes into the decision on calling a penalty? How is that possibly legit?BusterTBronco said:Kind of a silly comparison. Was pretty impressive. If he missed there was a good amount of green.Ok Andy your play calling is getting out of hand. Stick it in the hands of people who belong there and LOL @ Celek ownersnice open field tackle by Newman

So the league should only protect the less mobile QBs (like Manning and Brady for example)?Yeah, first and goal from inside the 5 and he doesn't even get a touch. As a McCoy owner, I'm not liking the start of this game.one of you in every Eagles thread.... he'll have numbers by the end
So when Miami runs wildcat are we to treat Ronnie Brown the same as Peyton Manning? So talent level of a player goes into the decision on calling a penalty? How is that possibly legit?BusterTBronco said:Kind of a silly comparison. To address the original point, it is unlikely that Brady or Manning would be in the position. Those guys rarely run enough to where they get to the sidelines like that. With Vick, it is commonplace, and if the defender pulls up because it looks Vick is gonna run out of bounds, Vick could easily keep his feet in and get a few more yards. Sorry, but given Vick's style and running ability, you have to hammer him like that. It goes with the territory. So talent level of a player goes into the decision on calling a penalty? How is that possibly legit?BusterTBronco said:Kind of a silly comparison. Herremans TDThats Reids play calling for you. Really? That's where you're going? But they do get into postion to give themselves up when they're near the sidelines right? Vick's foot was on it's way down out of bounds, he wasn't juking anyone, he gave himself up. The force of the hit was uneccessary roughness. To address the original point, it is unlikely that Brady or Manning would be in the position. I'm not playing against him this week, sorry...Where's the McCoy love down here!
It doesn't fit with your argument so you're just going to dismiss it? As a Garrard fan I know it's annoying when a defender has to pull a machete to get a foul called, but the league has made it clear how they're going to call the game so leave the pocket at your own risk.So when Miami runs wildcat are we to treat Ronnie Brown the same as Peyton Manning? So talent level of a player goes into the decision on calling a penalty? How is that possibly legit?BusterTBronco said:Kind of a silly comparison. It's a game of inches. What was that at the 5ft 1 inch line?

Not saying that it's legit, but after watching the high, late shots IN THE POCKET that Garrard took a couple weeks ago against the Giants, you're naive to think that talent level doesn't factor in (league-wide).So talent level of a player goes into the decision on calling a penalty? How is that possibly legit?BusterTBronco said:Kind of a silly comparison.
