Thats not a fumble. He never had complete control from the last angle.

Even if he didn't, wasn't that close enough to swallow the whistle and then call it incomplete after the play was finished?

Well, Hood was surrounded by players and can't run like Harrison and time isn't expiring and they're trying to protect a lead in the 4th, but other than that, yeah, same thing.

It was a terrible decision to not run the ball up the middle. Then it was also a terrible decision by Ben to not just tuck it in.

Fair enough, Harrison's not really in the same class as Ziggy when it comes to pure bulk. I just remember having flashbacks to Leon Lett when Harrison was rumbling down those sidelines...it wasn't very pretty, but unlike for Lett it actually worked!

Harbaugh has to get a grip on this penalty plague. Ratbirds are pretty good at squeezing the life out of bad teams but 100+ yards in penalties against Green Bay and Pittsburgh, in crucial games, is pretty dispiriting.

i don't know what the thing is, i just heard that we really needed MIA to win the game instead of HOU.

We definitely wanted Miami to win because we get a chance to play Miami. Oh well, Houston still has to play N.E. and I'm pretty sure BB will not be benching anyone in that game with the 3 seed still open.
