Game Thread W16 - NY Jets V Seattle (1 Viewer)

I'd love the Seahawks to crush someone's playoff dreams but I'd also like the best pick possible. I'm torn.
A better pick is just a consolation for losing. Shouldn't be even be a consideration as to what's better. Especially since Favre took us out of the playoffs last year.. Plus is they held on it's the only quality win of the season. Beating SF, STL and maybe a badly backsliding AZ team is nothing to hang your hat on. However, a win next week in AZ would put us at 4-2 in the division, which is small comfort but still keeps the team up near it's dominance of the division.

Getting the best possible impact player in the draft is pretty important. In ten years will you remember the Seahawks were 3-13 or 4-12 in 2008? What you might remember is that this awful seeason produced _________ who had some great years as a Seahawk. But I hope they win.

3rd and 9 pitch play?IBTSR (In before the Sweeny rant)
Sorry, setting up the new iPhone. However, after the Weaver draw I hated I decided to cut the guy a break for the rest of the game. If the Hawks can hold on, the Bills can take out Denver after a nice SD win, then the addition of the iPhone would make this one fantastic Sunday.

I understand the theory behind it, but I am never torn about it. It's not like they're fighting for the #1 overall. They'll be in the 5-8 range no matter what and I don't think there's one guy in the draft in that range that will change the next decade of Seattle football. But I will remember forever knocking Old Man Favre out of the playoff hunt!

Coles couldn't hold onto it, not his fault really. Gut punch.

Oh wow, on the Jets 20? Nice. Job.

Favre finally threw a good ball - and Coles drops it. Perfect.
? Coles caught it, but it got knocked out of his hands immediately after by a Jets defender. It shouldn't of been thrown in the first place as Coles was double covered and had 0 seperation.

Good thing the Jets went on 4th and long from their own 20 down 7 with 3 TOs left. Seattle would have blew it otherwise.

Awful decisions, awfuland the the play call is a deep pass into double coverage:X####### JetsJustEndTheSeason
Yeah sorry gb. Jets just looked horrible today and I don't understand why thye just didn't keep giving the rock to Leon and TJ all day.

Jet fans feel your pain. Brett Favre is not the man to guide you to the future, he most likely is one and done for your team.

They haven't been doing that on any of the trips nor against any team with a bad run defense. Mangini & Co just outcoach themselves every time. I don't know if they think 'it should be easy, let's let Brett throw' or what.I will say this - the offense they are running when they lose looks like it's the same crap they ran last year. Defensively it was even worse though. No adjustments at all at any time to what the Hawks were doing. Am happy for the fans and Holmgren. Am very angry as a Jets fan though - this team needs a some real work and I think most of it is up top among the coaches.
