Niners haven't been able to get going yet. Alex Smith has missed throws, Vernon stepped out of bounds on a great throw, Crabtree came soooo close to making a fantastic catch. Lynch is starting to run us over. There's no love between these coaches or players. Harbaugh/Vermeil jr. were nowhere to be found for an opening handshake. The players have been chippy with each other all game.

Lynch getting ready to get a goal line shot! Can he break the streak?? 100 yard game streak in jeopardy too.

thx dr.a!!!

Get your skittles ready. 3rd and goal from the 1. Lynch is in Beast Mode.
No skittles! No idea why they didn't hand it to Lynch. He's been running over folks. Instead Seattle screws up whatever stupid play they were trying and Tarvaris tries to roll to his left and scramble for the touchdown. Rodgers wasn't having any of it and chased him down then they both lowered their shoulders. Jackson got knocked out of bounds. Here comes the field goal unit with the streak intact!

I'm not sure they weren't trying to give Beast Mode the shot, things just went to hell when half the offensive players didn't come out of their stance after the snap.

:goodposting: I think the plan was to run Lynch right, but after Tavaris saw his FB just standing there he was just like WTF and held it.

Niners go for it on 4th down from what would have been a difficult field goal. They don't convert. Aside from the first drive this has been some fantastic defense from both sides. Yes, the offenses have made some mistakes but for the most part the defenses have hit guys hard, knocked passes away, and been able to get consistent pressure on the qb.

If you like defense this is a game for you.

Touchdown Frank Gore! Alex Smith looked good that drive but on the last play SF lined Gore up behind their defensive tackle and plowed ahead.

Tie game. :excited:

I don't have sound where I am, what happened on that Crabtree (?) catch? Looked like he was down well short and got up and ran past the marker.

I'm not sure. Was watching a different game and didn't switch back in time after the half. :sadbanana:

Frank Gore entered his own beast mode. Earl Thomas made a good play to knock away a touchdown and a stupid penalty cost SF a 3rd and goal from the 1. Another field goal after they get backed up. Akers is now tied for the single season field goal record.

Akers now holds the single season field goal record.

SF's defense is smothering Seattle. And Frank Gore/Hunter combination is moving the chains. With the way the defense has been playing I don't see SF losing this one. Tarvaris is starting to get hit a lot more and they're getting a tad pass happy. SF is hitting the guys and they're hitting them hard. It's fun seeing blue uniforms get knocked around.

Aldon Smith with another sack and 1/2 a sack away from the NFL rookie sack record. :excited:

Man Williams got sandwiched. All they had to do was touch him, he was sitting on the ground thinking the play was over.

Kyle Williams is down. He slipped on kick return (btw he's looked fantastic doing kr/pr this game) and was kneeling thinking the play was over. Only no Seahawk had touched him so two guys from Seattle laid him out (one from each side) as he was kneeling.

He got absolutely crushed between those two guys. :o :(

Shouldn't be a flag, dude was getting back up.
 Should have been a flag. And he was sitting on his knees slapping the ball, not getting up.Regardless, you can't destroy a guy who is laying on the ground and just needs to be touched to make him down. That's the poster child of "unnecessary roughness". Flag well deserved, and he might end up with a fine.

Seriously? In Los Angeles, F-ing Fox is showing the Eagles run it out up 20-0 with less than 2 minutes remaining rather than showing the game they should have been showing the whole time.

So was he on his knees or laying on the ground. He just got up onto his knees and the hawks had half a second to figure out he wasn't getting all the way up. Unavoidable and a bs penalty. Especially with all the late shots they've been letting go.

Good posting? First he says dude was on his knees and then defends why you can't hit someone laying down. Yup, real good posting.

Put down the rose colored glasses, re-watch the play, and then report back. TIA
