Game Thread W17 - St. Louis vs. Seattle (1 Viewer)

Good strategy for the Rams to save Steven Jackson from wear and tear going into the bye season.
;) Jackson is going to be an old man before this team gets it together. Hopefully some offseason moves and a few WR pickups from a local Comunity College will bolster the offense.

That's gotta be one of the worst choke jobs I've seen in a while...even taking into account that the rams are a mediocre team to start with...

I have a feeling that Roy Williams gets released by Cowboys and gets a nice deal from the Rams
:lmao: No way.Avery and Clayton - both on IR - are going to favorites to start. The Rams will be a "Dark Horse Darling" next year.
The Rams have a lot of holes, but I think they are going to have to go with a WR in the first round. Clayton is FA so there is no guarantee he comes back, and Avery has never really proved much in his tenure here - at least if I was running the team I wouldn't feel confident penciling him in as a starter.

Hard to call it a choke with a team coming off 6 wins in the past 3 years, a rookie QB, the worst WR's in history and playing on the road.

You've obviously not been paying attention to the Seahawks the last few years. Two seasons ago they were hiring WRs off the street to start by week 3.

Saints are going to have some trouble up there though. Maybe SEA can make a little run like Arizona did.
NO WAY do the Saints have even the slightest bit of trouble with Sea next week. They'll be up by a few TD's so early the crowd will start leaving by halftime

Oof.

Granted that Bradford is a rookie, and you want to be careful, but this has been about as unimaginative an offensive performance as I've ever seen with playoff stakes on the line.
True, but the lack of real weapons in the passing game has killed them. Amendola is a good possession WR, but without a real number 1, they can't do anything. And the lack of carries for Steven Jackson tonight is inexcusable.
POTD

I agree with Dungy. The Saints will win, but it isn't going to be a cakewalk blowout.
Yes it will. NO will win by 20+
I don't expect Seattle to win, but I won't be surprised if they do. Seattle plays well at home, NO has a rash of injuries, and like many fans could be looking past Seattle.
They better do something majorly different than what they did tonight.
Like find a offense? Hasselbeck can't throw, they can't run. There is a difference from beating the NFC west at home and the defending champs.

I'm on the Seahawks bandwagon!

I think they should seek a modest goal. If I'm a Seahawks fan all I want is for my team to finish above .500 this year (including playoffs) :kicksrock:

The good news is if you accomplish that, a SB loss will only drop them back down to .500.

What is even more amazing is Seattle finished 29th in Sagrain, and it would suggest that independent of other factors would be a 21 point underdog to the Pats in the Super Bowl if they went that far.

The Seahawks definitely blew a hole in Sagarin's process this season.
