Game Thread W2 - Buffalo V Miami (1 Viewer)

It doesn't show up in the stats (obviously), but Losman is playing quite well. Again, he looks like an entirely different guy compared to last year.

Jauron is clearly choosing to be conservative with him, and he seems to be playing within his role nicely.

Yeah... McGahee needs to see the endzone. I'm kind of surprised they haven't just kept feeding him the pigskin with the type of day he has had when he got the ball. It just seems like they go back to Losman and he fizzles. Maybe they will let him close things out in the 4th.

POOR POOR Daunte... Definantly ruining Chambers... I may have to start Bryant or Williamson in his place next couple weeks. Whats going on here?

MG

Well.. I went for the combo defense and have had Miami + NE... I think I'm dropping Miami for Buffalo or SD.. Bills where the next best combo with NE for predicted defensive points.

Again, Losman makes a good play that doesn't show in the stat line. He made a great pass in the face of an all-out blitz, and if Evans had just turned around he would have walked into the endzone.

Bills have had two very good games to start the season. Their defense is solid and a good running game = recipe for success and a big year for McGahee.

Culpepper is resorting to chucking and hoping. I gave Culpepper a mulligan for last week since it was the Steelers, etc. but he's a bad Qb. Reminds me of a bigger Brooks.

I think that if you're a Buffalo fan, you have to be pretty happy with the first two games. The run defense HAS to get better, but the pass defense has been tremendous. The running game is pretty good and Losman hasn't been making a ton of mistakes. They should have won last week against the Patriots on the road and they look like they're going to win on the road against Miami this week. Not a bad start to the season.

Hes alive! ( Chambers )

Good game to Bills fans... I think NE might be little more stout game this year defensively than people gave them credit for.

Bills have played well.

Losman had EIGHTY-THREE YARDS passing?!?! :lmao:what's the consensus on this guy's future from Bills fans?
His future looks much brighter than it did last year. He played very well. One long pass was misplayed by Evans and went incomplete. Another long pass to Evans would have been a TD but for PI. And yet another pass to Evans would have gone for a score except Evans didn't realize a blitz was on and didn't look for the ball accordingly. Culpepper's stats look much better than Losman, but there is no question who the better QB was on the field today.

Also, I just want to mention for the record that I was very hostile toward Marv Levy's hiring as GM, indifferent at best to **** Jauron's hiring, and I came away pretty disappointed from our draft.

It is early, but at this point it is looking like I was wrong on all three counts.

I like what I see on the field a lot right now. Jauron actually seems to know what he's doing, which is a big change from our last two coaches. He's conservative, but I think his conservatism is warranted given Losman's shaky track record. He seems to be getting good output from our roster, especially our rooks.

It's kind of strange to reach 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon without a feeling of shame about my team, but I think I can get used to this.
