Browns were embarrassed last week by the Raiders. Cleveland felt it had secured the lead in penalties on the season with 11 in week 1, but Oakland drew 15 flags a few hours later.

So far in this game, the Browns have only committed 1 penalty, but it was a good one as the Browns, seeking a stop on 3rd and 2, instead draw a 34-yard penalty that sets up a Colts FG.

Browns head coach Pat Shurmur having a quiet day with zero tackles. He leads the league in tackles by a head coach, showing some good technique in knocking down a referee last week.

McCoy was really close to being across the line.

But the XP is up and Evan Moore has another TD.

Great catch by Massaquoi at the one followed by a Hillis TD plunge.

Oops, looks like the TD will get overturned.

Hillis in on next play.

I know Hillis has not had a great day but why is Hardesty getting red zone touches, that makes no sense to me.
Hardesty and Hillis are both power runners. Then Hardesty went down with a season ending injury and the job was Hillis' by default last year. With Hillis established as the main back, Hardesty gives him a breather at the goal line.

I don't characterize Hardesty as a power runner at all

Browns really had an excellent draft with Taylor, Sheard and Little.
Tom Heckert has been an outstanding GM in the NFL draft in his first two years with the Browns. a couple more drafts like this and the Browns will be able to compete.

Just think, for the privilege of drafting Phil Taylor, the Browns grabbed an extra 1st round pick. Hahaha.

It took 5 years for Ozzie Newsome to build the 2000 Ravens super bowl team. It took 5 years of drafts to acquire enough playmakers. Heckert has had 2. He's still got a lot of work to do, but you can't have any complaints so far.
