Game Thread W2 - Dallas V San Francisco (1 Viewer)

I hate the cowboys but dude played with Broken RIBS!! People need to lay off him a bit. He's a pretty good QB that plays for a terrible franchise. ;)

Well lets be honest here....Dallas should have won this game by 14 in my opinion. The Cowboys had to come from behind to beat a team that is QBed by Alex Friggin Smith with his top two WR out with injury. This should have been a blowout not a come from behind over time win. The Cowboys are nowhere near as good as they want to be.

I am the eternal optimist normally but this team is going to have some problems next week with Rex Grossman and I am not looking forward to what Matt Stafford is going to do to this horrible secondary the next week.

Good come from behind win.

Romo showed toughness and came through in the clutch.

Big division game vs. deadskins comin up.

One week at a time.

Really? You are an optimist if you think Dallas should have beat them by 14 in San Fran. The Niners play tough at home. Check out last year's games and see for yourself. They only lost one game by more than 3 at home and that was against TB and the Niners had Troy Smith at QB. They lost to New Orleans and Philly at home but both were by 3 points. This was a very good win.

The crowd seemed like it was more Dallas fans than SF fans. Anybody know whats up with this?
Joe Montana didn't play today
Has it really gotten that bad in SF? Glad the Buffalo fans aren't like that.
a franchise has an unwritten promise to its fans to make an effort to improve. Alex Smith is a slap in the face. Bad pick, fine. They had Nate Davis and...they've done some at QB that fans could get behind as effort but regardless it's Smith out there every week.Picture Buffalo with Losman or Rob Johnson still starting. Sometimes ya gotta admit you were wrong on a player and just move forward.

It all started when the drafted Druckenmiller in the first round when they had only 3 picks in that draft. They thought Steve Young was gonna play forever. They got lucky with Garcia, but they have done nothing at the QB position for years. They went into Erickson's second season with 3 7th round scrubs for cryin' out loud.
