Game Thread W5 - New Orleans V Green Bay (1 Viewer)

This is one of the things I hate most about the Saints. How does the average fan know this game is out of hand and the coaches don't? It's 28-3 and you're going for a field goal??????????????????????????????

Green Bay will continue to score during this game, the defense hasn't been able to do anything against Favre.....and you attempt a field goal???????????

How do I realize this game is over and they don't?

It's time for 2 minute offense and every redzone possession is 4 down territory.

Unbelievable. Jim Haslett thinks he has Peyton Manning and a comeback is right around the corner. It's over unless you try and match them TD for TD.
And on monday morning it will all be somebody else's fault
Nope, this has pretty much been a coaching cluster ####.
I meant that HAZ will try to pin it somewhere else. It sucks b/c I want to like him but he is making it hard

Any of the Favre haters want to chime in? :D
If he continues this piling on crap by passing when they are clearly dominating this team, I have no sympathy if he gets injured while doing it.

I traded away a ton to get Najeh in a dynasty league last night. I knew he would put up a monster game. I did not know he was going to sugger what had to be a game-ending and perhaps season-ending injury. :bag:

Did you forget to take your medication today?
Brett Favre should have been in street clothes when the score was 21-3. That's when it was obvious it was over.

Wrong again, slick.
You need to get NFL ticket and watch the game. It's brutal.EDIT TO ADD: I dare, I freaking dare someone to tell me how the Saints are going to win this game. :crickets:

Dude, the obvious smilie for this situation is

Guys, I'm just having fun. I've been a Saints fan during some really lean years, and I won't be quitting on them over this game. But damn, this game is just flat over and has been over since the end of the first quarter.

For some unknown reason, I drop kevin curtis this week, pass on jurevicus and pick up stallworth. I am banging my head on the desk atm.

i guess us deuce owners have screen passes to hope for in the 3rd qtr.....
I'm expecting about 30 more yards for the rest of the game from Deuce. That's it. The Saints will probably pick up one or two first downs per drive before punting, throwing a pick, or turning it over on downs.

Dang. I was hoping at halftime the Saints would trade for Terrell Owens and the Packers would trade for the KC defense.

Making things worse is probably the worst announcing crew I've ever heard.
Remember that fumble where the announcer was saying that he didnt have possession... and than they slowed it down and you could obviously see that he did have possession before the fumble... classic..Anyone think favre is "too old"?

It's kind of cute that the Saints still think the score is 7-3.They're still running off tackle plays...punting....

I am little shocked.. I know, I know, It's Favre.. But with all the injuries the Packers have suffered this year, and up by 32 points vs. The Aint's you'd think The Pack would like to see what they have in Rodgers and not take a chance on injury.Maybe once they score a TD here and go up 42-3 they'll consider it. :hophead:

Wrong... it looked like it but when they showed the reply it would have been a better no call.

My only pleasure in this game is watching Favre kick the Karma Police in the nuts with every throw. It's going to come back on him.

Its not just favre... harris learned how to make ints, o line is playing better.. .ferguson actually holds onto the ball... and doesnt get it stripped away and give favre any more ints than he has now... nick collins causing fumbles.... whole team is playing better...

Umm, let's remember this is The Saints they are playing..HECK, even The Vikings beat them!! :excited:

:P

OK. 42-3 now. If Green Bay continue to pass using Favre on their next drive then maybe the Saints will take offence and try and stop them

Maybe Stallworth can get garbage points...............................................................................................................

The only reason Favre comes out here is if The pack want to pad his stats..Absoltuly no other reason to risk him.

That's it. I have $100 ready to paypal to the Saints defender that puts Favre out of my misery.I wrote it, so it's binding.
