Disappointing perhaps, maybe not deflating. They've been pretty resilient under Harbaugh, bouncing back quickly after numerous close losses on the road (like in Foxboro last year). I've always thought that Harbaugh has done a really good job getting their best effort 16 times or more a year; they're just a step behind the really big guns most of the time. They almost never lose to an inferior team, unless you want to count the Bengals in Week 2.
