Game Thread W7 - Tennessee V Arizona (1 Viewer)

Wow, what a weird turn of events. ARI scored 9 points off an INT and then a safety on the ensuing kickoff. Don't know if I've ever seen the safety called on the kickoff.

Wait a sec - the Titans have the ball now. I thought they would have to kick after a safety :confused:

Not that it matters because TEN just fumbled and ARI recovered. Hold up, now they just undid that and TEN has the ball again.I'm just gonna go out on a limb and assume that CBS GameCenter is messed up

It's Yahoo also. They just removed the 2 points for the safety that supposedly occurred. Apparently, there was none.
 
the kickoff must have resulted in a touchback and for some reason, the computer was calling it a safety. It seems to have been corrected. IN the meantime, what is the deal with Chris Brown

 
Tennessee's halftime radio show just said that, "Chris Brown suffered a shoulder burner on a wicked hit by Robert Griffith and his return is questionable."

 
Green for coach of the year! Love the strategy of waiting until the last minute to name a started to confuse the opposition by confusing your own team.

 
Boldin needs to step up....I gave Randy Moss for that underachiever.

Brown didn't even return to the sideline after halftime. He's still in the locker room. :wall:

 
I'm so happy for those of us who stressed out until just before kickoff about whether McCown was playing. I mean I don't know what I would do without those 50 first half yards. :wall:

Brown is now back on the sidelines without his pads on. He is not returning.
 
Can anyone explain what happened on that punt? NFL.com swears it was a 51 yard offensive offside penalty with no explanation of how they got the ball back.

 
what the hell is going on? first they had two plays for the titans, and then magically it was Arizona's ball and McCown is getting sacked? :confused:

So did the Titans go for it on 4th down and fail? Or did they convert for a TD?

Pretty sure it was a punt, not a 51 yard penalty.We missed the first 2 plays of the drive and then on 3rd down McCown was sacked.

I went boom or bust this week - started McCown, Fitzgerald, AND RackersNeedless to say, I'm not going to win my game this week.

 
this game has turned into my worst ff nightmare ever.and I already had one today with LT scoring me a whopping 6 pts. thanks ppr.

 
Near as I can tell they're just teeing off on McCown. Anyone watching the game who can confirm?

 
The Arizona offense is a disgrace... playcalling is HORRIBLE. Jeez.... think you could run the ball more than 9 times. Shipp can lower his head and pound, and Arrington can get at least some yardage. God this game and team are AWFUL....Can anyone say "Leinart".......

 
I think a lot of people are having a horrible week fantasy-wise. Palmer is showing he can't handle a decent defense, Tomlinson got smashed, Alexander is being shut down, Arizona is being crushed, Chris Brown is injured... A lot of studs are causing problems.

 
How is it that the Cards have less than 70 total offensive yards at this point in the game? Anyone? Is this the 85 Bears D they are going against?
