Nice play calling Childress. GB just scored and is getting back into the game and you call 3 passing play which result in a punt. Way not to use your best player again and give momentum completely to GB.

What is it about retiring you don't comprehend?Look they had to give Rodgers the job or he would have left the next year. They did what was best for the team even if it hurts the team short term.Rodgers is 25 and Favre 40.

They could have traded Rogers for at least 2 number 1 picks and taken a another top knotch QB in the draft.
 
Peterson has lost a step this year. I'd be hard pressed to say he'll be a top 10 RB at the end of the year. The beating he subjects himself to is clearly slowing him.

 
Penalties killed us again. As well as giving Vikes great field position. Make them earn it!

That's the best you can come up with? I've watched every down of every Vikings game this year. He is not hitting the holes as hard and isn't breaking to the outside like he did last year. In past years, it was extremely difficult to bring him down. This year he almost always goes down on the first hit.

He isn't a top 5 RB right now, most people took him #1 overall.. Drew, Benson, Johnson are all better.. Drew and Johnson are way better.. Benson is more consistent.

I'll give some of the credit to the Packers D - some of the blame on the Vikings line - but I have seen AD try to hit the hole and just get stacked at the line, miss the running lane or just simply bounce it outside at the wrong time. Something seems off.

If a player jacks around a coaching staff, general manager and his legions of fans with a self-absorbed and deterimental annual ritual about retiring by pushing it deeper and deeper into the off-season until the situation becomes so problematic that the team finally draws the line and then reluctantly gives into a trade demand from this selfish primadonna of a player to go to another team in another conference where the trade agreement actually contains a clause specificially designed to protect the future interests of team's inside information by making a subsequent trade to any of their three key divisional rivals highly punitive and then that player capriously and maliciously engineers another disingenuous retirement in order to defeat the clause to fill some Machiavellian desire to exact some warped sense of revenge, then by all means the fans are entitled to relentless boo this jerk during ever play all day long.I don't see where the fans (who ultimately foot the bill) should be more thankful than the players (of which many make millions) in any situation. And this situation in particular showcases a first ballet hall of famer whose behavior is self serving at best and at worst highlights an ego so hungry for attention that no on field accomplishment or amount of adulation from the fans will ever satiate it. His accomplishments are legendary and his boyish charm is endearing but his act is wearing thin. I think he will find life ever more difficult when he is no longer the center of attention and the roar of the crowd finally fades away. Hopefully, Favre will seek out professional help to resolve whatever issues are troubling him before his behavior turns even more ruinous.

Taking a dig at me does nothing to add to the discussion. If you have a better take on Favre let's hear it.I'm not really for or against Favre. I certainly don't wish him ill. But as an observer, I'd say his behavior appears destructive. There are many former Packer players that are really pissed off about him joining the Vikings. I saw one calling him a traitor on ESPN this morning. Do you think that guy is putting on lipstick?

Peterson of the previous two seasons makes something out of nothing. Peterson of this year makes a play happen only if there's a clear hole open for him. He lacks any of the flash of previous years.
