Sounds like #7Did Theismann just say the Vikings have not gone deep and thrown a ball past 15 yards? He must have missed that bomb in the endzone to Bethel Johnson.
I kinda mentioned this earlier - not only does passing the ball avoid having to run against Minnesota's D, but it gives you the opportunity to go up quickly and take Minnesota out of their running game of getting Taylor 25+ and thereby putting the game on Johnson's shoulders (which is not working out so far).I love New England...they know they can't run against the stout defense of Minnesota so they don't even pretend to play that game and just go straight out and throw the ball. Bellicheck is like maybe the best coach ever...ever!
TYBRady putting on a clinic. Anyone getting tired of me posting?JP - Caldwell as a sleeper - excellent call.
I'm on a roll with Hagan last week as well. caldwell had 9 targets last week, including end zone looks.Listen for my pick this week.
Agree. If the vikes can manage to put ANY points on the board without letting the Pats score anymore before half, you GOTTA go back to pound and ground. The Vikings need not to get in a game of who can pass more with the Pats. The Vikings bread and butter is the running game. They need to get Taylor the ball then put in a play action here and there. The Pats have gotten the Vikings out of their game with that spread offense earlier. The Vikings think they are a passing team too. Not good.
Exactly BGP, I brought this up a few weeks ago. They have a soft schedule and could make a run at 13-3, Indy's defense will lose them a few games along the way...they might lock up homefield thru the playoffs.New England...January...Playoffs...who is going to march into NE and beat them? Chicago/Dallas/NYGiants vs New England...take your pick.So looking at the Patriots' schedule, who are they gonna lose to the rest of the way?
Just when I was ready to cut him loose.....I am back on the bandwagon again. Having him in 4 of 5 leagues will do that to you.Ben Watson breaaaak-out?

Not at Foxborough they ain't.Game plan. The Pats don't seem likely to test the two big interior lineman of the Vikes, especially when they can carve them up through the air and gash them with Maroney as a change up.Hell of a game plan by Belichick Inc.Is Dillon hurt? Usually he gets 50% of the carries.

Not for a Dillon ownerwatching Maroney run is a treat.

They've done it many times before, they can do it again. Shannahan loves to coach against the Pats and Belichick.New England...January...Playoffs...who is going to march into NE and beat them?
