Game Thread W8 - New England at Minnesota (1 Viewer)

It's sad that the story tomorrow might be about the refs - the Patriots have DOMINATED this game, and most of it has had nothing to do with the refs.
Now that the Vikings are out of it, this is where they're going to get tons of calls to "even things out". In tomorrows box score, the Patriots might even be more penalized than the Vikings.Seen it happen way too many times in the NFL.

:goodposting: Even if the Vikes get those calls, very few of them were really "game changing" blown calls. The catch by Wiggins is a first down, sure but it's not like the Vikes were even in field goal range. Face it folks, this team is getting manhandled by a FAR better team.

I almost wish this game wasn't so close so I didn't have to listen to all the Brady ball-washing. He's "PAUL RIVERE?" Yes, my friends and I often discuss how Tom Brady has ascended to Paul Rivere status in NE.

Yes - it even gets old for Pats fans (although unlike outside fans, we don't get bitter towards Brady as it really is nothing Brady can help).

It's a little sad to see Rodney Harrison post injury, with the memory of pre-injury Rodney still fresh in my mind. It's like they're making him wear 20 pound ankle weights on each leg.

No ####... and water is wet. That doesn't change the fact that the Vikings have been getting reamed by the refs.

:lmao: at the sensitive NE fan. No one is disagreeing with you. Doesnt mean Minnesota have not had the worst called game of the season.

The refs are like brass knuckles on a 250 pound boxer, vs. some 98 pound nerd. Really not necessary, but the outcome will look more brutal.

Roughing the QB with a helmet to the back of the back.

Isn't that stating the obvious?

Is there anyway possible, to have a helmet to the front of the back?

respects Brady.

Hmm...imagine that. They decided to blitz a team that was passing the ball at a 4 to 1 ratio, and....it worked! Brilliant!

Just tuned in, haven't had a chance to read the whole thread. Man it looks like NE is getting reamed by the officials? What's with a helmet to the back then a ticky tack holding call on a nice 3rd down play???????

I'd put a number of games ahead of this one in terms of worst officiated. Hell, this isn't even the worst officiated game this weekend. This just in: The NFL refs are awful. Film at eleven.

You know when you are up by 4 scores against a team that hasn't done anything on offense and you are still chucking the ball down the field 30-40 yards---karma might have a little lesson in store for you.

Brady needs to not see another minute in this game if they are smart....
