Game Thread W9 - Dallas at Philly (1 Viewer)

that's what you get with a player like Jackson though....do you really expect him to catch 80 yard tds every week? he's not a possession guy - maclin is filling that role nicely - and Desean will have awesome weeks and weeks like this....it's the nature of the game - and why no one ever finishes the year with 30 tds and 2000 yards receiving. Expecting him to do that every week is simply ludicrous...and a prime example of how FF has completely skewed some peoples ability to enjoy the game and see it as it is.
Wild prediction... talk in Philly this week will be about getting the ball to Jackson more.
hey don't be bringing that in this thread. There is 13 seconds left

Hate to read too much into anything, but Tony Romo has finally started wearing his baseball cap like a grown ### adult (sorry RudeFan) this year.

Walt Coleman is just an awful ref - but that had nothing to do with who won tonight. Dallas played a little better overall than Philly. However - I just cringe when Walt Coleman refs a game - and if he never does another game again I'd be happy.

How the hell did Dallas win that game? That was ugly.
Because Philly played just as ugly. They blew all their timeouts early, they also had some huge penalties against them and their coach probably made a mistake at the end in not going for it on 4th down when a field goal doesn't really help them when you don't have any timeouts.A win is a win though, we've lost plenty of games like this, nice to be on the other end.

Great effort by Dallas. The team showed some real grit on both sides of the ball. I just hope they don't get too high as they have another stiff road test next week in Green Bay.

I second the Walt Coleman terribleness. How is he still in the league?

I love how when Dallas loses a week 2 game, the media blowhards say "see I told you Romo can't win a big game". But tonight it's not a big game because they won, I mean uhh, "it's not December". Oh well, probably the same donks that said Arod would never hit in the postseason.

The media is only concerned about their storylines. Unfortunately for Romo - he's currently the "can't win the big one" guy - because now Peyton and A-Rod won their titles. If Romo continues to get better and better - then this will pass, too.
