Update: T.J. game-time callBy GEOFF HOBSONSeptember 8, 2006Posted: 1:25 p.m.It looks like wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh (heel) is going to be a game-time decision Sunday after he was the only Bengal who didn’t practice Friday on the Paul Brown Stadium field.Defensive tackle Sam Adams (knee) returned to practice and head coach Marvin Lewis indicated that David Pollack (hamstring) and Deltha O’Neal (knee) were ready after practicing and being upgraded to probable.Lewis wouldn’t say how that would affect the receiver corps, but with Antonio Chatman (groin) already out, the assumption is Chris Henry starts on the outside and Kelley Washington handles the slot if Houshmandzadeh can’t go.
The question becomes: who would you start him over? I have Moss and Burleson as my #2 and #3. I am considering sitting Nate for him but probably won't decide until game time.
I don't have Housh...but a huge Bengals fan. I don't like this one bit...this game is going to be an offensive shootout...and the Bengals need "Who's your daddy?"
I do have T.J along with being a huge Bengals fan and really don't like this one bit! They definitely need him in this game and I started him this week as my WR3 yesterday afternoon when he was listed as probable...of course I saw the downgrade when I got home after watching the game last night after it was too late to change. Great start to week 1 if he is sitting out...

The few Bengal games I've seen, Henry has really stood out as being a talented receiver. You don't think he'll be able to pick up the slack if TJ misses time?

Why do leagues lock starting lineups after the first game of the week? That makes it extremely difficult on weeks where there are Thursday games. And this year there are six of those weeks.
