I remember watching that movie in Oceanography class in high school - teacher was probably just hung over and needed a quiet day. I mean the Ocean is central to the movie but not sure it really has anything to do with Oceanography.

Yeah once I became a teacher I quickly learned the 3 reasons why teachers show random movies like that:
1. Hung over- most likely
2. Mailing it in- sometimes they just don’t care or maybe they coach football and are just using that time to draw up plays
3. Oddly obsessed - saw a Star Wars nerd science teacher show the original Star Wars in physics because it mentions “the force” and the kids learn about forces. Another history teacher I worked with would always show Breakfast Club and make the kids write about how they saw themself. I mean the writing assignment is fine, not sure you really need a 2 hour movie to set that up though and it has nothing to do with history. He would also quote the movie all the time so it was clearly something he was really into.

My wife had a high school history teacher who was obsessed with Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and not only showed it but would talk about it all the time. It turned her off of that movie big time, and it took a lot of work on my part to get her to appreciate it.

The mantra playlist is short (so far) - but I feel so inspired now!!
I was not familiar with the Buzzcocks song, but loved it.
I was not familiar with the Lori McKena song, but liked it.
I do know the Neil song, and while I love him and like Ragged Glory a lot, I always found Mother Earth weak.
I was not a fan of the Bad Brains song either musically or whatever mantra it espoused.
George, Van the Man and Wilco (my pick) never disappoint.

It's a very well established cottage country brewery. They have fairly wide distribution already so nice starting point. They also have 2 brewpubs up in the Muskoka area where the brewery is (about 2 hours from me), 3 brewing locations total.
I live in the centre of the territory that I'll cover, it ends at the Eastern boundary of Toronto but not into the city itself, which makes a big difference for driving/traffic. Basically the same area I covered in my last job.
They made the offer today but a couple little tweaks to be made before I can officially sign it (I asked for an extra week vacation, which they're giving me). I assume because of the timing of Canada Day (July 1), I'll start the week after that.
But in any case, something I'm passionate about, with a territory that makes sense and seems like a good group to work with.
Lots of unique, on trend styles and I get to talk about craft beer every day!
