Are you guys referencing the late defensive holding call on Philly? IMO as someone without a dog in this fight (in fact, as a Chargers fan predisposed to want KC to lose):
- The call was technically correct.
- It was a call that is probably made ~50% of the time, so not crazy it was called.
- There was a worse call earlier in the game when the refs did not call defensive holding or DPI on a similar play when MVS was held blatantly, leading to a Chiefs 3 and out... it balances out.
- Had it not been called, the Chiefs probably go up 3 points and the Eagles get the ball with no timeouts and about 1:30 remaining. Odds are that they would have lost in that situation, anyway.
I know this isn't the thread for this discussion, just saying...

Are you in a bizarro world where people are talking about a DIFFERENT late-game call? IMO as someone without a dog in this fight (in fact, as a Chargers fan predisposed to want KC to lose):
- The call was technically correct. Maybe? But see below.
- It was a call that is probably made ~50% of the time, so not crazy it was called. Please provide stats and video to prove your assertion. I'm not buying it, but open to proof otherwise. Without that, you're talking out of your *** as much as I am!

Irrelevant. There were "bad" calls all along, though I feel that officiating overall was good. Calling out one in an entirely different situation as a balance is not relevant.

Yowza. I think saying they wouldn't have been able to get in place for a tie or win with 1:30 remaining is a huge stretch. The better argument on this whole thing is what Pip already said, which is that likely the Chiefs score anyway.
