1. Funny thanks to Murphy and Hall's multiple side characters. Without those it was pretty weak.

2. Some really funny scenes. Forgettable plot for sure but I did laugh.

3. Somewhat guilty pleasure. Cheesy at times but well written and acted. Some great performances by the young cast members. Oddly enough the weakest part was having Williams basically do stand up in the classroom.

4. Haven't seen more than a few bits and pieces. Looked pretty lame though.

2. Excellent. Pretty much a masterpiece. Not sure who doesn't like this movie except for really old people and really dumb people.

3. Excellent as well. A couple of weak spots but otherwise fantastic.

4. Eh...I remember enjoying it when I saw it but no desire to watch it again. Zombie movies aren't really my bag so the satire didn't work well for me (same thing with Shaun of the Dead).

5. First 5 seasons were awesome. Definitely in the "classic" category. And while it was still better than most sitcoms on during that timeframe, I think that there was a moderate drop in quality when Alley came on the show. I'm sure there are big chunks of the last 4-5 seasons that I didn't even watch.

6. Another classic. After a rough start it redefined what a sitcom was. Not sure what to think of people that don't like Seinfeld. Still holds up today.

1. Wife loves this show so "we" watch it. Can't stand the mom really but the kids make up for it. I don't seek it out but will halfway watch when the wife has it on. The older kid reminds me of the stupid #### my younger son says/does and the daughter is usually good for a few laughs. Not that great of a show but it has it's moments.

Haven't seen the other two.

1. Very good. The romantic part(s) get really tiresome by the end for sure. The whole baseball aspect of the movie is nicely done, however.

2. Good. I don't like Costner in this role though. He doesn't come off as authentic. Pretty neat story despite how goofy it is.

3. I commented on Major League earlier in this thread.

4. Not a big fan. First of all Redford was about 10 years to old for his part. And the movie was way too slow. I think the first half was solid but then it bogged down. Plus all the goofy crap like knocking the cover off the ball, hitting the lights etc felt really out of place.

I agree with about 85% of these reviews.

Especially appreciate the Wes Anderson hate. These are movies I want to like and I'd rather get kicked in the balls for 2 hours.

Except for the blanket dismissal of all things metal, horror, and foreign I have agreed with most of what he has posted. I am surprised at that.

1. Great concept, poor execution. Connery's Spanish accent was spot-on.

2. This is one of those bands where almost all of their hits are great while most other tracks off their albums are forgettable. They also really started to fade with Hot Space. I think they peaked with Jazz and The Game.

3. The original National Lampoon stories are awesome. Example http://www.oldhippie.com/ocnstigs/OC-Stiggs.pdf The movie was disappointing.

4. Not a fan of Troma stuff.

5. Self titled is their best album. Nice combination of 70s power pop and new wave. Once they started to get heavy MTV rotation they started to suck.

1. Pretty decent first couple of seasons and then fizzled. They were also pretty lazy when it came to period piece accuracy. And I'll go ahead and say it: Winnie Cooper wasn't all that.

2. Great show. Sadly your average TV viewer back in 1999 was used to lame, dumbed-down shows. Something like F&G today would thrive.

3. All-in-all it didn't really grab me. Some funny scenes and lines (I still use 'I'm here for the gangbang' every so often) but far from a comedy classic. Ryan Adams "to be young" is a great opening so though.

4. Two or three pretty decent songs but not a great catalog. And their politics are immature.

5. Very uneven movie. Good chemistry between Snipes and WH. The basketball scenes are pretty entertaining too. But all of the other junk...the relationship story lines etc...are dull as hell. And don't get me started on the Jeopardy bull ####.

1. Honestly don't think I've seen this and if I have I've completely forgotten about it.

2. Guilty pleasure type movie. Overall it's lightweight and spotty. But there are a lot of pluses: great soundtrack, nostalgia (I was in HS when it came out), Foreman's hot as balls, some funny lines, and EG Daily's boobs. Oh and Lee Purcell as the MILF http://www.snakkle.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Valley-Girl-Lee-PurcellCUT.jpg

3. Not terrible. Would have been better without Kathleen Turner IMO. And for a non sci-fi movie I think the whole time-travel thing (or at least how the main character reacted to it) was done fairly well. It really went off the rails in the last 1/4 or so though.

1. Probably catch hell but I don't like any of then Indy movies. The whole action-adventure, throwback to the 1930s serials doesn't work for me. Ford is great in them though. Just not my style.2. Could have been much better. Kilmer is awesome as Morrison but not he can't save it. And Stone was a little too old to drink the "Morrison rules!" Kool-Aid. A much more honest take on JM would have been better.

3. Great movie period.

4 and 5: Not even the T&A could make those shows even remotely watchable.

re: Vampire's Kiss... don't know anybody else that likes this, but I think it's brilliant- stupid movie overall, but brilliant. Nick Cage at his overacting, bizarrely accented best. campy goodness. A "best scenes" montage- I could watch this all day :lmao:
