tbh, there's a store below me (union market) that sells all this gluten free stuff for a lot of money. whenever we have guests, they always pick up cheese and crackers down there and we end up having to use up all of our good crackers because that gluten-free crap they bought goes unused, other than a couple of stragglers with bites taken out of them. I'll admit- wasn't thinking about the rice-crackers which I'll enjoy if hungry enough (the wasabi ones are always good). not sure what that first link is... offal?

I have no idea what it's actually called since I only ever find it in the bins you use to fill up your own bags.  This is the Trader Joe's version which isn't nearly as good since the spice level is lower:

Edit: If the TJ version is a "Mixture of love" the real version must be a "Mixture of sweet, spicy lovin'"

I need info on how to be able to watch the teevee without having cable/satellite.  Is there a Cliff's Notes version of the 120-page thread on this topic?

Depends on what you want to watch.

If geography/terrain allows, you can get an antenna to get all of your over-the-air channels.

For streaming services like Netflix/Prime/Hulu, etc... you either need a smart TV or a streaming device like Roku/Amazon Fire TV, etc... along with WiFi and wa la.

There are also "skinny bundle" services like Sling where, for $20-40/month you can stream a collection of regular cable networks like ESPN, AMC, FX. I think Playstation has something similar.

The kodi thing O mentioned, is beyond my ability to explain or even understand.

 Thanks, Uruk and Osaurus!  An antenna won't be possible for the same reason cable/satellite won't be available.  The TV is a smart TV so I'm covered on...something?

I don't watch much TV but would like to have the local networks, the news networks, Discovery, whatever Better Call Saul is on (AMC?), ESPN, that's about it.

SlingTV sounds like a good fit, although I'm not sure what you could do about local networks - google says locals are available in "select markets only", but those links all go to a sling.com page, which is blocked at work.

What would you have for internet service? Mobile data?
