Second trunk. No gingham.
Kept a pair of black wingtips (I specifically requested these--need a new pair). They were kind of pricey, but in line with others I'd looked at over the past couple weeks. This affected what I could afford to keep.
Out of this trunk, I only kept these shoes, a polo shirt and a pair of shorts.
Some stuff was close, but I couldn't justify the price.

Reminds me of the good old days in college, sitting on the quad listening to crazy Preacher Dan ramble on.

GB Preacher Dan. There'd be a big group around him on the quad, watching him work himself into a frenzy. Usually making fun of him. It would be a nice, sunny day. At some point I'd need to leave to head to class, and I'd end up chatting with some friends when this chick I knew would come along and be like, "Hey you want to head back to my place and have some beers on the patio?"
So of course, being 20 and unable to buy for myself, I'd blow off class and go to her place and sit on the patio and imbibe and... whatever else might end up happening.
Probably should have listened to that crazy *******, really. Maybe if he'd mentioned that sometimes they get you to marry them.

Officially closed on our old house. Spent all day yesterday moving. Exhausted, but glad to be holding just one mortgage. And, in a few hours, my checking account will look like Scupper's, though much of that is earmarked to pay off the remodel of the money pit we just moved into.
Wife due any day. Can't tell you how neat that is. Pins and needles, needles and pins. Speaking of needles, my wife told me that since she's having a C-section, she'll just have her doctor sow her up so she can't make babies...that means I don't have to get my balls operated on. Now all I have to do is avoid cheating on her with a fertile young filly and all will be well at Casa Chez Malaise.
