1. Sheik went through some sort of odd transformation over the last 10 years that is completely unexplainable. I hope this is just some sort of weird shtick, but honestly, he's not the same funny, cool guy he was in 2003.
Doesn't even seem like the same person. Or maybe he's just married and miserable now.

Yeah, have thought this for awhile. Awfully cranky too if you call him on it.

My kid's sick and my wife are taking turns working from home keeping him occupied, so I take him to the post office. He loves ####### trucks more than posty loves pizza-flavored Cheez-Its, so I take him over to look at the yard where the postmen are loading up their trucks for the day's deliveries. He starts jumping up and down yelling "YAY! YAYYYYY!" while they're loading up, and the guy nearest us didn't even look up, which I thought was lame, because it's like hey man, somebody's cheering for your otherwise-nondescript governmental job.

Then my kid starts berating me because I'm not jumping up and down. So I start jumping up and down too.

If that doesn't encapsulate how big of #######s that 2 year-olds are, I don't know what does.

If you put a bunch of stamps on him, could you mail him away like a potato?

Seminal? Is that the word I want?
:oldunsure: Uh, if you insist . . .

Maybe "paramount," "superlative," "consummate" or just "ultimate" without the pe(e)n.
sem·i·nal

(of a work, event, moment, or figure) strongly influencing later developments.
"his seminal work on chaos theory"
synonyms: influential, formative, groundbreaking, pioneering, original, innovative;More
Oh, it definitely applies . . . just wasn't sure you wanted to use "seminal," get it, get it, huh-uh, hence the use of the unsure emoticon

I may have to call it quits.

2. Tim considers "Blinded by the Light" to be one of rock's penultimate tunes.

3. Consider the sources.

4. ????

5. Profit.
 Surprised Tanner didn't seize on *this*. Good to know that tim thinks "Blinded by the Light" is one of rock's next to last tunes, though. :P
I'm saving it for K4
JFC, it was all I could do just to scroll right past and tell myself it wasn't going to bother me.

So , technically that was your penultimate reaction?

Maybe they'll update the definition like they did with literally

Please tell me that you are joking and that they literally did not do this.

My back and both knees have just been killing me lately.

There's a movie theater 5 miles way with really cushy seats and $5 matinees. I've been going a lot. A whole lot.

Its a 10plex and the only movies I haven't seen are Goosebumps, Hotel Transylvania 2, and Woodlawn.

Looks like I'm going to pay to see my first christian sports film. Defintiely going to need to toke up big time in the parking lot. On the plus side, it was somewhat positively reviewed by the LA Times, Variety and Hollywood Reporter. Jesus and football.

I'll be glad when pain subsides enough that I can sit in a bar all afternoon like I'm supposed to.

Wait...who still goes to the post office? Is this the 1970s? It's not, is it?
i do. I have a PO Box for my biz.

there's this one lady that works the counter, and the few times i've had to buy stamps or send a package its excruciating to wait in line. She is super slow, and likes to talk to everyone like you're her best friend and can't work the keyboard or the equipment very well. an 8 person line is about 90 minutes.

I was tempted to get into it with them a few weeks ago because they wouldn't accept my credit card since the back wasn't signed yet I can buy stamps from the automatic machine with the same card no questions asked (machine was out of order or something at the time)

GM doesn't have to worry anymore, he can no longer have a seminal affect on anything.
