I was just required to throw my fired manager under the bus some more. I didn't hesitate, but I would like for this to be over now.

I thought we had more in common than this.  Well, I guess, I too have super sperm.  Of course like nukes, was never foolish enough to actually use it more than twice.

Feeling better about being saddled with five kids after today.  Best day at work in years.  Pulled in $2.5MM today and killed a conf call with a Boston university endowment contemplating $20MM for cobalt through us.  Two more entities committing $3MM for cobalt with more to scale.  Now control over 500mt and my boss waited for the rest of the team to leave the office to tell me I'm doing a great job and will be taken care of in time.  Been a long time coming.  Frigging cobalt....weird life I lead.

 
So sorry Sweet J. It's absolutely true that "It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all" but it sure does make the loss so much more painful.

Just got off a conference call where the lead person introduced me as "Krista Can't-Remember-Your-Last-Name."  Feeling pretty highly valued right now. :thumbup:

My grandpap was known as 'Whitey'

My grandma always called him 'Walter' which was his middle name. 

When he was in the hospital his nurses called him 'Edward' which was his first name.

Given your penchant for skin tone, i think 'Whitey' would be a good name.

If one of the candidates made a commercial where their opponent was photo shopped to look like a scary clown, I would vote for that person.

 
Condolences Sweet J.  Sometimes I think the only real part of heaven is the place where people remember us in a glowing way as you remember your Dad. Best to you and yours. 

 
I bought a one way ticket to Los Angeles because it seemed like the thing to do.  I've basically moved into the LAX Westin until some things "transpire".  

 
I think I may have gotten blackout drunk and sold my soul.  Went out with the 22 year old tonight.  She makes me feel 20 years younger, which would still be too old for her.  There is no other explanation I can think of for her wanting any part of me.

Totally worth it.

is that the one with the throwback tropical pool?  with the palapas and the pastel light show in the pool?  if so, get down there.  eager doesn't begin to describe the atmosphere at the pool.

It happened to me when I moved from Samsung Galaxy to an iPhone. AT&T has an app that is supposed to migrate all of your contacts over. It sort of worked, sort of didn't. Many came over, but not all.

So now I have to keep the old Galaxy phone in a drawer next to my computer and pull it out and plug it in periodically to look up a contact. Really convenient.
