GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (10 Viewers)

I will vouch for @Higgs  He has been very open about his political opinions, is willing to have real discussion and admit when he is wrong.

IOW - way better than the ####ers and ##########s in this thread.

i mean.... it's a horse
True, but a splendid horse that demolished records that stand today.  Winning both the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont is a very rare accomplishment - setting record times in both that haven't been touched is 43 years is astonishing.  I'm curious if there are any Track and Field or Olympic Swimming records that are 43 years old?  Plus, Big Red had personality.  He was a clown who liked to get into mischief, but was good natured about it.  Some race horses are mean as snakes and impossible to handle, but Secretariat was all charm.

Plus he had 658 more babies than I have had, so you know, hats off and all.

That Belmont is just amazing.  Would be like us racing against Usain Bolt

Someone tagged me today in yet another picture from my cheerleading/pom-pom squad days, which is bad enough :bag:  but it's because there is an upcoming reunion of the squads throughout the years.  Some sort of dinner followed by a performance by the current squad, for which various people have sent me invites over the past couple of months.  Who does this?  And what have I done to give the impression that I would give a flying #### about going to it?

(Apologies to the new guy; there's rarely any cheerleading talk in here but you chose the wrong day to join.)

(Typing that made me miss Saints Man (Ralph).)

i posted a pic from an 8th grade field trip and tagged friend (we all went to school together for 8 years and then some an additional 4 in HS) but have mostly all kept in contact over the years

some people are angry about being tagged in a near 30 year old photo

apparently teen angst about appearance lasts... forever?

Yeah, that's true.  I don't mind it at all, and I'm tagged in some childhood pictures that are awful.  Have seen a lot of people freak out about it, though, especially women.

I only don't like that it reminds me I was a cheerleader, and not only that, I was really proud of it at the time.

I see no such picture on your timeline....though that's probably a PICNIC situation.

So I guess I'm lucky since most of my family is gone (not the lucky part) there is no stockpile of awkward photos from many years past.  I can think of quite a few right now that make me cringe.

It means I can't see the picture of you on your facebook page, but probably because the Problem's In Chair; Not In Computer.  HEYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Had maybe a few IT guys state that two me a time or two over the last 15 years. :bag:
Hmph.  Never heard that one.  Maybe they were really saying Problem's In Computer, Not In Chair, since, you know, it turns out the same.

Haven't heard that one. Similar to PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair).
