Hoping Coop gets the headaches figured out. Have a niece with type I, and know that's enough of a challenge on its own. Adding migraines to it can't be fun.

Thanks buddy.  Interested to see how this Rx will work with him.  He's going to take an antihistimine (sp?) twice a day.  Doc says they stumbled upon this helping with migraines by accident, but we both know how hard it can be to find a reliable drug that is effective for chronic sufferers.

Told him that over wings and cold drinks at BWW right after.  On the elevator down from his appointment,  I said, "I guess I should technically take you back to school since you have an hour left"....then we both burst out laughing and said almost in unison, "BWs?".

He's not much for saving his money, let alone investing.  Terrific spender, like his mom.  His older brother, however, has a pretty nice sized account at Goldmoney.  Since savings accounts are as useful as a wiffle condom, I'd recommend any parents looking for an alternative to check out Goldmoney for a portion of savings.  I tend to think gold is setting up nicely for another run up, especially in this uncertain environment.

You ever talk to the guys at Agency Trading?  One of their partners joined our fund last month. Got a nice little opportunity setting up in June re: cobalt.  Well, if the Canadian regulators can get their crap together in time.

a gb HS classmate is the president of that place. 

MC got to pick kids from all over the county- offer scholarships, etc. Tam had a bunch of no-shoe wearing drug-addicts to pick from. good water polo team though. and of course soccer.

I just got a text from my daughter asking to go with her best friend to Bend, OR for Memorial Day weekend. 

Of course, she would need to miss school on the Friday before...

PS - Bend is going to be slammed with baseball players and parents that weekend.  What an exciting time.

Yeah, I've been through those too, once when I was in Boy Scouts.  Sunny and 70s all day long, freezing cold by nightfall.  Was ill-prepared for the cold, which was just one of myriad reasons why I sucked at Scouting.

I wonder where she got the idea that going to school was optional?

Too bad she used up all of her "freebies" because that Friday is typically a jerkoff day any way.

 
I've noticed a tendency for this thread to get rather silly.  No one enjoys a good laugh more than I do except perhaps my girlfriend and some of her friends.  Oh yeah, and my boss. Come to think of it, most people enjoy a good laugh more than I do, but that's beside the point. Right! Let's get on with this thread.
