I'm not saying that to dis you, but I deal with idiot, no-common-sense inspectors every day.  Sounds like you're more in the abatement side of things; I install drilled shafts and we are now getting bad air readings in a shaft that is 300% deeper than plan because the inspection firm (& the GC) are afraid of the owner. Air was fine at what should carry nothing more than a sewer pipe, but the test missed by an inch (on a 3x factor of safety design). I ain't too far from going to jail right now.

Oh, I totally agree. I've been brought in to clean up the mess of another inspector before. Too many guys in a hurry, lazy, or incompetent.

 
Day 5 of a two week vacation, and the first 5 have me down with an upper respiratory infection. On a slew of meds. Can't sleep because I'm hacking up a lung. Started on a monster dose of Prednisone today, but didn't get the script til too late. Tomorrow should be great..... That stuff makes me hot as hell and give s me a voracious appetite. Plus it makes me jumpy and quo. 60mg tomorrow should have me back here at 2am again tomorrow night.

I'm so sorry for your loss Pro. MrsPack had a miscarriage as well before we had our daughter.

All too common nowadays. Hang in there, and make sure your wife understands that she did nothing to cause it. :(

So sorry gb, just means that you were not ready 

wife and I had 3 miscarriages, before we had identical girls(then another girl)

Keep your head up and keep trying, before long you'll have your own softball team like me 

 
We're thinking of going the the Ancestral health Conference in Seattle, AHS17 will be held at the the University of Washington in Kane Hall on September 7–9 from 9 AM–5 PM..

Would be up for getting together with so many of our friends there.

The conference is really interesting, too. Its a bunch of academics that discuss paleo theories, based on research and scientific method.

We'll probably stay a week and hit Portland for a few days.

Fish- is your key still taped to the garage door?

If there is the slightest opening you take a half shell and wedge it into the hole of the PITA pistachio, you can then use it as a lever to open the crappy shell. Save at least a handful every bag this way.
