GM's thread about nothing (46 Viewers)

is it or is it not true that you targeted the two black cats down the street for tearing up our doormat

They were the ones doing it!

sounds like profiling to me
There were chunks of it in their back yard!

circumstantial evidence
Wait, this is ridiculous.

Those cats are troublemakers.

those catslisten to yourself

I don't hold an opinion about black cats, the ones who did that just happen to be black.
I'd like to see this in chain email format, please.

Page 2? I need to buy a new vehicle capable of towing a boat on a double axle trailer. Needs to have a full back seat, so I'm talking an SUV or truck with super cab. Also need AWD or 4WD. I'd like to keep it around $50K. Yes, I want new. Yes, I know used is a better deal. I don't care.Considering a Dodge Durango Citadel. Thoughts?
I have a Dodge Laramie Quad cab with 40K, leather, hemi, nav, trailer pkg., everything but a sunroof. I also have to 100k extended warranty on it. I have a new car coming in next week and dealer offered me 21K trade-in for the truck. You can have it for that if you want it. It'll pull the #### out your trailer and leave you 30k.

proninja> that guy Bret who commented in the Ron Paul thread on FB....his profile says he knows 9 languages...but 7 of them are a variant of English (British English, Canadian English, New Zealand English, etc.), and one is Pig Latin. This is good shtick.
He's a great guy, and extremely republican. He also loves to argue, and he's one of those friends you can argue back and forth with for little reason other than arguing (which is what is happening here) and not be even remotely offended. I am not extremely republican, so we do this from time to time.
I'm not a big fan of arguing. I like jocularity and ironic banter and I think I just waded into a pool of serious business there. My shtick don't go down well with Jesus crew.
:lol:The other guy is a pastor, and I don't think you offended anyone at all.
Oh I know I didn't offend anyone. I just got disinterested real fast.

Interesting.
It is black and 4WD, too.

What's the dry weight of the boat? Factor in the weight fully loaded with fuel as well. My buddy's boat is pulled on a dual axle trailer and it's too much for his explorer. A large ski boat could be iffy for a mid-sized SUV.For $50k you could get a super cab truck, diesel or gas, which would pull anything. That's what I have and I've pulled 8 tons before.

Dry weight is 3800 lbs.

Toyota Tundra CrewMax. Big backseat and plenty of room in the back to put boat crap.

Boo to the Philadelphia airport. The ONLY restaurant outside of security is the one at the airport Marriott. My folks have a 3 hour layover there tonight and we figured we'd meet them there for dinner since it's just a 30 minute drive for us compared to 8 hours to visit them normally.

And there's one place outside of security. One. I can't be the only one that wants to meet up with someone that has a layover or is dropping someone off and wants to catch a bite to eat. Seems crazy. Especially since 3 years ago I met a buddy there and they had at least 3 places outside of security. But they remodeled their security area and took out the restaurants.

Sounds perfect to me. A friend of mine just got one and it would pull that boat easily, I'm guessing.

Had a sorta date last night. Supercute 23 year old. 4'11" spinner with a perfect rack.

Deal closed. :pickle:
Congrats on having sex, guy.
Thanks, buddy. It was quite fun.
The sex or taking her to Build-A-Bear first?
Build-A-Bear is more of a third date kind of joint. Plus, my account there is pretty much maxed out.
:lmao: So wrong.

Somehow I got roped into decorating the reception hall for the wedding of a former student. It is the Mexican tradition that when you get married, you get your friends to pay for everything. So now I'm a Madrina. And speaking of ropes, it's a western theme. Any ideas?

Cowboys and sheep?
Ride 'em, cowboy?
That's your theme. Inflatable sheep and cowboy hats. Maybe chaps.

Having coffee tonight with an old friend.

Have not talked to him in over 9 months, so he knows nothing of marriage councelling, divorce, lung cancer, drug overdose, hernia surgery/getting snipped. Should be a good time. I may have to live post his reactions.
Well, that went about as well as to be expected. Discussing 6 months of a really crappy year in the span of 90 minutes was about as pathetic as it sounds. At the end, he wanted to pray for my marriage. Not only did I not have the heart to tell him no, I didn't even have the energy to tell him that I'm not even sure I believe in the same God as he does anymore. But the coffee was good, so there was that.

Almost bought this online while on the road today, based on your suggestion, then at the last minute, guessed there was a 93% chance you already sent it to me. Got home and there it was. Starting it tonight.

Thanks GB.

Twin nooses. :thumbup:Pay the priest $50 if he'll finish the vows with "Of all these crimes, the accused has made a full, spontaneous confession. Therefore, we condemn him to a life of holy matrimony until death. May the Lord have mercy on his soul. Proceed."
